hey geoff, i am creating a panel for the psych departments of carlow college and university of pitttsburgh to do a Q & A sort of a trial and error thing.. to see how we respond to their ideas to approach us (people with PTSD) IN A THERAPEUTIC sense.. if we react with rage.. obviously not an option to approach us... We unfortunately have create ways the systems can help people who are inflicted with PTSD!!

State by state the VA's differ. I deployed twice and suffered from PTSD and I seeked help from my local VA and was treated in a timely fashion. I am sorry for your bad experince and wish you the best of luck.

I love the Che Guvera book in the background next to the "I'm for peace" sticker. These guys are mostly a bunch of low ranking, non combat arms, weekend warriors who signed up for trainning and benefits and were outraged that they were called to support their country. I didn't ask for a bonus on my first enlistment, I didn't ask about education benefits, and since I went to SOI, I certainly didn't get any job skills. When I went to war I didnt complain. Why? I work for the VA health administration. I support the soliders by any means they come into the military status of being a solider. You know sometimes if you think you can do things better, then maybe you should with plan A, and plan B etc. I would love to see real leadership, but with that comes the insensitivity to human kind to stand for your own. I dont think anyone has it in them to kill but we are still trained to kill.

our country didnt start anything, 9/11 happened. to be quite honest the leadership was not in sync with the people ready to fight and die for their country, as well as take lives in the process. sure you can do your research but war is war and it is not predictable. I am a purple heart 2 time war veteran, and I can say i did my job and will continue to serve. most people dont have to, there are only a selected few who train with the utmost courage and readiness to die.

When the Soviet Union fell, Saddam Hussein told the US ambassador in Baghdad he may invade Kuwait. Bush said nothing until after he invaded and placed troops in Binladin's country.

I could totaly understand, and agree with the outrage of this guy if he was forced to go into the Military by way of the draft or something to that aspect, but there is no draft, I'm in the Army myself, "RA" I joined because I wanted to serve, I've been to Iraq four times so far, I can't complain for two reasons, for one I made a choice to serve, no one made me go into the military, number two, I believe in what we're doing, and that makes it all worth while.
