I never was infected (I'm an OSx86 fan running Snow Leopard on my Windows PC via VMware), but I know a new varient called MacGaurd is 220% more dangerous than any other in the fact that it comes in two parts. In fact, it even won't require your administrator password to "install" this "anti-virus" software. Another thing to watch out for is poisoned google searches as ones that normally infect Windows now can also target OS X. Be on red alert!

It's not a virus. It's malicious malware to try to steel your information. This does not effect your computer in any way (like a virus would).
