  • a very big company for sure

  • worked for them in Canada for two years. Great time

  • the only reason i like working for halliburton, is i can work on any of the 7 continents and pretty good benefits other wise... just over worked and underpaid man

  • Baker-Hughes/ Halliburton /SLB, same game, different deck of cards.

  • I thought schlumberger was the name of a gay nightclub.

  • All Blue...foreman type company...

  • Halliburton é a melhor, THINK RED.

    Brazil 100% Halliburton.

  • I think Andrew has a big problem here boy!

  • SLB rocks !!

  • @edley01 and u need to get yourself down the local shops and buy urself some dignity.

  • Very true... I worked for big blue for 4 yrs! they strip away your freedom and work u to death while promoting the retard next to you... if you want a wife and family and friends avoid schlumberger!

  • Moved from UK to work in Australia, i thought SLB was supposed to be the same all over the world, but in Australia its not the case, poor management, wages and rotation.

    Avoid it like the plague.

Theres alot better companies to work for in Australia that is.

  • @knightsy30 naaaaaa ya see this is what we aussies call a whinging pom, if you dont like it move back to your shitty cold overcast country because we dont want you whinger.

  • @stdavross666 Obviously u have had the blue injection mate, and probably the retard that got promoted, its got nothin to do with being a POM, its about having self respect which you obviously dont have, i bet that u are one of those green trainee engineers who couldnt get a real job and have sold their soul to SLB coz no other decent company would take you. Get a life mate and get a real job.

Oh thats right , u cant , you've had the big blue rammed right up there !! haha

  • @knightsy30 maybe you just wasn't the right person for the job mate.

  • @stdavross666 yeh you could be right, I'm a hard working honest person who has a family life / social life and dignity.

To survive in SLB u need to give all of that up and what for? low pay, shyt rotation if any, working with in-experienced lazy people ( engineers), who dont know their arse from their elbow.

It doesn't matter what your response to this will be, its fact, and if u try argue this then you really have had the blue injection, and its to late for u.

u just keep living that dream!!

  • @knightsy30 fair enough mate, sorry for rubbing up the wrong way. Sounds like these fags really rubbed you the wrong way. All the best.

  • I've just resigned from SLB, they treat their people like shit, poor wages and promote retards !! I hope they crash and burn, they deserve it. If you are thinking of joining them, forget about it, its a waste.

  • @knightsy30 LoL...silly man!

  • @knightsy30 where you working?

  • nice i like SCHLUMBERGER, i would like to offer my services to SLB, i am petroleum & N.Gas engineering graduate

  • @natureboy1736 go for halliburton they are good in rotation unlike in SLB!!

  • @MothSmoke1 thx for ur advice. can u give me link or any contact person in halliburton whom i can talk about hiring.

  • @natureboy1736 well I dont have any contacts in Halliburton since Im working in Schlumberger...= )

  • I've heard they treat their people like crap. I would rather be a smaller engineering company and make less money.

  • Schlumberger - certainly all blue...first time in 1930 Mark came up with this idea!

  • I lived for 21 years in this particular "Blue world"... the first decade of which was spent as a Field Engineer, over 800 logging jobs... It's a great Company, and a very different, unforgettable lifestyle... (I've since gone over to the "dark side" with Baker Atlas, which is in many ways even better than "blue"...)

  • Hey where are you located? I worked for Baker Atlas for awhile in East Texas and was with Computalog before that. I am in Gladewater, TX now doing other things. =]

  • Seems like a cool company, would be interested in them if they were big enough in california. For now, it's small workover rigs...

  • Schlumberger is blue but in norway we do not fell this cuz we wear orange

  • exciting and extreme!! thats schlumberger!! specially wireline!!! tiring job but worth it,when rig down!! he he he!!!

  • Awesoem! It sounds a very interesting company!

  • Awesoem! It sounds a very interesting company!

  • Wow. I thought I was nearly alone in my afterthoughts about Schlumberger. I worked there for two years. And that's two years of my life I spent being beat down by management, degraded by first level supervisors, and NOT taken seriously. They gave me a work injury I'll live with in my dominant hand the rest of my life, and they were unsympathetic and, in fact, they blamed me for it when it was clearly their equipment. I hope that company is the first to go as we all start to go green.

  • Totally agree with mark gobolt. SLB treats there employee like crap and will work them to death. Not a smart career choice if you ask me. Lot of better service companies out there.

  • slb believe all there own hype and bullshit. They make just as many fuck ups as the rest of them. As a consultant i have worked for all the service companys, slb is the wost, poor pay, poor rotations, treat people like stupid little kids. Engineers are brain washed, most of them cant think for themselves, lots of back stabing, finger pointing, managers who dont have a clue but can bullshit a good job and operate a computer. The more of an idiot / arsehole you are the further you will go at slb!

  • Dude... lol what kind of consultant work did you do? I mean SLB is the top of their class for some reason.

  • Nice video dud, Schlumberger is a big big company.

  • i worked for "halliburton"

    but slb is much better!

  • I worked for big blue in 1980-1982 in Ventura California. (Wireline services) My shortest week in hours was 70. The longest weeks was 6 days straight many times. Most weeks was 120 hours. We never knew where we were going to be from one job to the next; i could be on a Drilling ship, platform or lost in the mountains, or on a fishing job, ugh. We rolled trucks in the mountains as the roads gave away or were too slippery, we logged wells during earthquakes and lightening strikes. Very hard life

  • Good to see someone taking the piss out of the blue army hahahahahaha

  • I am working hard to be there..wish me all the best..orait

  • hy!i was just hired at schlumberger as a well field specialist...it's ok?

  • Best of luck Paulicus. My dh worked at Schlum. when just out of college--hard work/tough hours, but great opportunity to learn and travel. The joke was you had to p***blue! to be a real Schlum. employee. :) Best wishes with your work.
