Nightwatch was a much cooler color scheme, but overall the ROTF is much cheaper plastic, and does not have rubber tires as the original leader class. Although the two swords are a nice touch, but the toy is much skinnier.. and imo more cheaply made.

I actually own the non-Premium Prime and have to say that it's better than the premium and Nightwatch, IMO.

Premium: Cool sword (stabby stabby!) and better gray. I hate the gray plastic...Grr.

Original: Better head. (Prime's "ears" are not as dramatic as depicted by the Premium's head. [pointy...]).

Nightwatch: Head. (Why did they do that color-thing to Prime? Yucky!)

I say if you want to stick to older-school Primes, I'd go with the original...IMO, of course.
