In the 1970's I was living in Indianapolis. part time musician. It was new years eve. I think Dec 1973. A place in Kokomo Indiana called the barn. A young lady wanted come onstage with us and sing some songs. She was VERY GOOD. Not old enough to be in there then. I was playing bass. If I am correct on the year date, she would have been 17 years of age. That was before anyone knew where she was headed.
She does such great songs. Does anyone know how I can find her first 5 albums on CD? They're out of print and expensive - and I see some internet sites selling 4 of them for over $500, but that's out of my price range for 4 CDs.
This song is so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes and left me speechless !!! Does anyone besides me think she looks and sounds like a young June Carter Cash??? Ten Stars!!!!!
I always liked this song the best of all the songs that Sylvia had released. I wish that I could buy this song on iTunes. I always thought she was gorgeous and had a great voice.

She doesn't sound like Patsy Cline on her other songs. Seems she is putting a Patsy spin on this one though.

I agree. I've always loved her voice and I think she could have been another Patsy Cline if she had had the right manager promoting her.

Probably right.She graduated from Northwestern Highschool (my highschool) around 75-76.
