@TMiJam so if i didn't want the quad tips, and i wanted the muffler, would i have to buy different tips since the muffler was designed for the coupe and is too short for the sedan? or would it be fine without tips? also, what else did you buy to have it installed apart from the tips and mufflers?
@lilgunnermarc Well..the mufflers are actually pretty small so the muffler would be pretty hidden without the tips. the tip was about..a foot long. The mufflers are universal so it'll fit coupe or sedan, there's a video of a guy that has this setup on a coupe, it just fits a little tighter cause the cutouts on the coupe bumper are actual cutouts. As for what i bought, just the mufflers/tips and had them welded on.
Oic, so just go to the dealers and get the parts from them as well. Thanks! One more question, where did you get your Magnaflow Exhaust? I'd tried looking online, but all I can find are for Coupes, and I have a Sedan like yours.
@sleepikid89 The parts are in the description, it's just a universal muffler/tip i used. Luckily it came out sounding the way i wanted it to. I got it from amazon when they had a magnaflow sale.
I forgot what website i used to get the door handles from. i bought some from online and i ended up going to the dealership for the rest. It was easier to find the right parts at the dealer and it wasnt much more expensive. The handles are just the black handles a non v6 accord would have. Just remember the passenger/driver side handles are different and for the driver door you need that piece that will fit around the keyhole. I tried to DIY the switching of the handles but it got complicated
I like your blacked out handles. Where did you get them or was it a DIY kinda thing? Also your Magnaflow Exhaust is it just the mufflers or is it the whole system? Because I've done some searches and all I can find are whole systems for Coupes instead of Sedans.
@TMiJam ok without the resonator, isn't it too raspy on highway when cruising? i'm planning for short ram intake, midmuffler delete, and swapping the resonator with something like magnaflow..
@immortal4942 I was thinking of putting a magnaflow resonator before i went back to stock. I had the bigger resonator taken off and had the midmuffler on for a few weeks, they sound the same, just louder when you have the mid muffler off. I say with the magnaflow resonator it will sound about the same, maybe deeper but not as loud. Mine wasnt raspy at all, just a deep hum all the way through.
@TMiJam what a shame... why wouldn't they have a manual?? maximas too, they just come in autos :( i miss the days where japanese flagships still had the option for a manual even if it had all the rest of the luxury features.
I am hoping to achieve this sound with my 2008 V6 Sedan. So did you just have the resonators removed, replaced with pipe, new mufflers installed, and left the rest of the system stock?
hella clean! when you say you had to cut some of the rear fender off what exactly do you mean? the inside of your fender was rubbing against the outside of your tire??
How much of a drop did you get? I got 19x8.5 rims as well on 2011 Accord V6 Sedan and trying to figure out how much of a drop I want. Everything stock and thinking of just going Eibach springs pro kti for now.
@iemmsley I dont remember exact measurements of how low i dropped, for the fronts i had to trim the fender lining cause they were barely rubbing on some bumps and on the rears i had to cut some of the fender off. Are you on my8thgen dot com? if not you should join up, lots of advice at the forum.
should I get Accord V6 2010 with 30K miles for $24K or no? Thanks

love the sound and i plan on doing this to my v6 sedan also. i was wondering if the part 11132 was the muffler itself and if the 35168 was the tip?

@lilgunnermarc Correct

hey i have a 3.2 TL and i want to get this sound. do you have only 2 mufflers on or 3? i'm not sure if the accord has a mid muffler or not...
immortal4942 2 months ago
@immortal4942 I had taken off the resonator and the mid muffler so it's stock sized piping and just the two mufflers.
