is that rust worth dealing with? I imagine pulling the interior stove, sink, and furnace (if they work) and putting them in a similar, rust free van, would be the the best bet.

No offence but for a rust bucket like that I will only pay $40 or less just to take it away. Did the engine run and drive it at the time or was it completely immobile? If it was immobile it wasn't worth paying for, appart from $20 if you want the living acessories inside.
