Out of the 20 people I told about it, about 18 or 19 said they wont be voting for obama after they went and read the bill. the other 2 people don't really pay attention to anything at all and trust obama because he is a good speaker.

This is a blatant unconstitutioanal law.Therefore it must simply be ignored for its lack of legitimacy.There is no law unless the constitution gives it authority,and it certainly doesn't give authority to the NDAA or the patriot act.In fact the bill of rights states they can't do this. Freedom & security do not ever need to conflict; I like the ACLU but this lady is a weak back peddler to me, and it is not just her - the real reason these laws won't be recognized to hold people indefinitely without due process is because it violates the Constitution - which she did mention - another scary part is how would we ever know if this happened to anyone (if they can be taken secretly) to bring the case to the Supreme Court & challenge it in the first place
