i love ember to inferno, it was the first album i ever heard of trivium but i find it ridiculous how some people think it's their best album, i mean trivium's mission statement is to get better and better not worse but it would be awesome if they rerecorded this album i mean imagine with matt's improved vocals and corey's melodies and paolo's bass lines and nick's intense drumming

There are also much better drummers in metal than Travis. He's good yes, and did well when he wanted to play with Trivium but there's much better metal drummers out there.

It doesn't take a talented musician (if you can even call that little cum sucker one) to pay someone to write your music for you, then to attempt to sing it and then to pay someone else to go over it with a computer, fix your fuck ups then add some beat that uses no real instruments to that.

Thank the Lord for Trivium. The last 15 years of metal has not brought up any new great bands. Korn fucking blows IMO and we all hate Limp Dickit if we are listening to this. Trivium is truly a breath of fresh air in metal.

Though there are literally hundreds of under the radar bands that are great, the fact that they haven't risen to popularity is sad.

Every genre of music the industry touches turns to shit (rap, metal, grunge, etc etc). However, it is sad that some truly talented metal bands don't get the recognition they deserve when a fucking idiot like Little Wayne makes millions upon millions of dollars for spouting off ignorance and deluding an entire generation of people.

@FlaKey511 Yes! I completely ignore great bands like Atlantean Kodex, or Evil Army because they weren't formed in the 80's! I am ignorant to the recent Heavy Metal and Doom Metal surge (revival?) that's happened in the last 10 years because I don't bother paying attention to anything after 1993.
I hate modern Death Metal because it's modern, not because most of it is utter crap half-assedly ripping off older bands! You're right. I only hate Trivium because they're new!

There is so much more great music! From more recent times we have bands like...Tool, AB, Machine Head, Avenged Sevenfold (cheesy as hell i know, but awesome riffs), Killswitch engage, chimaira, APC. Thats just to name a few...yes Trivium are the KINGS of modern metal, any day. But dont overlook other great music out there!
