  • Wow, I actually count 3 wires at one point. Waste of money.

  • What the ffff is wireless about this? It's as wireless as my regular mobile charger

  • its a good idea and concept however it needs to be improved alot it is just as easy to plug in a wire to charge your phone if they could pair up with some phone manufacturer loke samsung or apple they could build it so you didn't have to put a case on I think this would be a good idea but right now this product just isn't worth it

  • i was going to buy this then my dad said the fone may catch on fire due to over charging

  • useless

  • You people dont get the technology.. Benefits: 1- 3 devices charge at a time... 2- No different charger problem for nokia, iphone or blackberry... 3- Just put and pick charge... 4- Auto-off the charging when its full. 5- Your charger may overcharge your phone 6 - Phone may get dropped while charging with cord. 7- Numerous cord problems. 8- Phone socket problems. 9- By put and pick... It really solves all kind of cord and socket problems... I personally liked the POWERMAT.. Keep It Up:D
  • lol this is so stupid!

the only way you can genuinely charge anything wirelessly is with that ridiculous case...

I'd rather just have a normal charger xD

  • it is a waste of money...u may as well just get a wall charger..u have to do so much to charge it anyway....if u have outlets u dont need this. its not like u can charge the powermat itself n let it would on the go or anything. its very unnecessary. i have one

  • thanks. now i thnk i wont buy it

  • if i have to plug it in what's the point of the mat?

  • LOL at all the people who don't understand the concept of the Powermat System. The part that makes it wireless is the fact that there is no metal contacts between the case and the charging mat. This is revolutionary! Some day it'll just be built into your counter top or nightstand, and all you'll have to do is set your phone on the surface. Btw, this technology has been used for years in rechargeable electric toothbrushes.

  • Gotta love the motor effect ;)

Thumbs up if you know what on earth I'm talking about

  • He's just trying to rationalize his expensive purchase. Who the hell wants to use this stupid piece of junk. It creates clutter and bulk. And what the hell is the point of putting an iphone onto a dock that goes onto another platform that has a wire. And it doesn't even sync to itunes. Cut out the middle man and just put it in a fucking dock. And the best part is it doesn't have to sit in a specific spot on your desk.

  • this is not really a wireless charger fools

  • Who ever buys this is a dumbshit and ill explain. if u dont have enough outlets to charge ur shit, use a power cord splitter. if u'd like to charge ur shit and use it at the same time, u cant. if u like a bulky, ugly case ,go ahead get this shit. they say if u dont like the case u can use the dock, which basically means the powermat is acting like a power cord splitter which i can get for 5bucks. so if u have too much money and like a big piece of shit on ur table, get it. id get myself a ps3

  • 3:22 lucky coincidence.

  • useless id prefer a mini solar charger or the mini battery, good video anyways

  • Oh u need to buy the case to charge it

  • Soldier doesn't know shit.

  • why cant u just sit something down on it and have it charge without all the extra crap

  • personally, I think this invention is complete crap.

  • Very nice apple dock/wire adaptors...a simple wired device turned into a complex wireless and back to wired again...what for???..very, very smart....just plain stupid...and people pays big money for it!!!

  • It seems like it would be good with the iPhone case, but with the other ones it seems pretty pointless.

  • Does anybody care about power efficiency ?

  • @ArsonistInUrFirewall no. I have a 750W quad core desktop with multiple monitors and graphics cards...and I use it to surf the net.

  • Dude there is something so much better than this, is a lot cheaper and it only takes up one outlet and it you can charge like 5 of your devices, it's called a Power Strip it's been around for ever!

  • what part are you cuting out from just pluging it in. YOU DO ALL THE SAME STUFF. THIS THING IS USE LESS !!!!!!!!

  • With the mat and box full of adaptors, it’s a great idea to have guests charge their devices in the living room. Other than that, I’ll wait till this technology evolves. A product that you can place the phone on a grid to power a device rather than having a 'special' case for devices. But then that would require a 'special' battery or other pieces of components. The possibilities are limitless now that this idea is out. Nextgeniphonnewithbuiltinwirelesschargingandpowergrid?!!!#$%^^&*%$#@!

  • wtf? u need a special case or dock, just plug it in!

  • Thats cool but thats a total wait of money. Go to the store and buy a normal charger for $20 or less. Usless.. lol

  • will this work with an iphone 2g?

  • Talk About....Total waste of moneY!

  • were is the point

  • hey they have the another powermat that have 3 square i don't like that one.

i liked this powermat way better..kinda expensive..

  • hey $200 u should donate some money to me just kidding

    question can they recharge my

    verizon droid x cellphone?

    psp system

dude i have the same zune player better then ipods..

  • typical nigger

  • So basically with their case your iphone is no longer a phone (covered microphone).

Also without powermat case you dont save no seconds because you are still plugging into ipod docker.

I will save a bengie, thanks for your report.

  • would this work with my HTC Surround

  • so basically with the crap you have and saying that the little cover charger is useless... this is a piece of useless junk... you still have to grab the thing and pull it from the ipod... good job!

  • Wt if theres an earthquake and the device falls and breaks??

  • the dock that came with my iphone is soooooooo much easier and waaaaaay more attractive than this solution, to a problem that doesn't exist....and who needs a Zune, an Iphone and an Ipod...the iphone does everything by itself...

  • i have it it's really total waste of money

  • Thats a lotta wires for a wireless device

  • Here's a solution to save money. Use the charger that came with your device.

  • this can also be used to read a rfid chip !

  • So if I want to surf during charging do I have to lift all those thing??? I better stick with the old way.

  • might as well buy a 5 dollar charger for each of your devices its so stupid there is a dock to wirelessly charge its not it has no wires but might as well plug it into a wired thing. you cannot pick it up and use it on this thing and a wire can so ha

  • that isnt even wireless the bottom of the iphone makes contact with the board so it isnt wireless

  • Thats a waste of your money, cuz what wireless charger is going to send electricity tru the air to your sevice without shocking any1 xD just don't buy it ur better of with your regular charger

  • Seriously, who wants to have this shit? 500 million components to keep track of....worthless piece of shit.

  • did you get paid to do it, you are so hard sell.

honestly, do you really think it is wireless and worth it?

    you are not neutral.

  • so NOT wireless -_-

  • is it kinda magnetic?

  • um isnt just the same if you plug it in to a usb charger?

  • so its a wall plug plugged into a wall

...taking all the time on putting the case on or exchanging the tips on the cube thing is probably more than just plugging it in on a normal fuckin charger

  • it would be better if you have a table o desk were you place the item usually and it would just charge. say a bedside stand put the item there and it will charge because it has the same type of technology and is connected to a outlet hidden behind it

  • nice review i just got mine today but watch your review before :)

  • Ok it may be useless now, but still... its a good start and a nice look into the futurel...

  • @7DeadleySyns No.

  • u need to buy a dock, and plug in the matt, why not just plug the dock to the power? rofl

  • whack! gay!!! lol

  • @soldierknowsbest you should get an otterbox it's 100% worth it.

    ~David

  • set it and forget it and its going to catch on fire

  • omg!! what a big case!!!!!! O.O and what a waste of money...

  • 5:26, the concept is no cables and look at that mess.

  • What's the point?!!

  • Waste of money!!!!!!

  • So I was just wondering, you put the phone on the pad, connected to a cord just as short as an iphone charger... Soooo I see a wire maybe by wireless you aren't as wired trying to put the charger cable into the iphone ie: 2:15-2:17

  • This is so retarted rather get a wall charger for 10 bucks.

  • Comment removed

  • wtf

dumbest thing ever cant express my confusion as per why anyone would ever buy this

  • Whats so wireless about it ??????

  • I still seems kinda pointless, until they can build this tech into the batteries themselves...

  • Ha ha! "Set it and forget it"

  • @no77ip lmfao

  • I don't get the point of this. maybe it reduces the number of cables if you need to charge three powermat magnets at once, but this just looks like a glorified extension cable, except this one only has three spots. originally I thought the powermat case acted as a portable backup battery, that would be cool

  • you think it's worth it...?? because they are paying you to say that, or you think it's worth it because you actually think it's worth it? you should put a disclaimer on this video.

  • and i thought the Ipad was a rip off, this thing is more useless!!

  • this looks like more work than just plugging in a cord lol

  • it would only be worth it if you didnt need to put on a giant case to charge it, or to plug it into a dock, what's the point of that? might as well stick my regular charger in the iphone, just as much trouble

  • i wouldnt pay for this crap unless i got a $140 rebate after buying it

  • Palm pre (plus) has an actually charging dock. The conversion is only $60 come with case and dock. And the case looks like the regular back called touchstone. This = Fail. Apple give us conversion.

  • yeah this is kinda wack

  • This thing is so fucking stupid. Plug in something to plug in something. Retarded!

  • crap waste for sure i thought it was wireless i see wires on it and putiing in a case how stupid

  • Useless Piece of Fucking Waste Shit

  • what a joke.

  • Too much money for something useless, I'll stick with my wall charger

  • I agree: what a totally useless device, and a waste of money. Who needs it?

  • is it really that much work to just plug the ueb cable in and charge it? this thing is a waste of money

  • ...and I thought i had alot of electronics lolol

  • Is it compatible with Motorola V360's?

I was thinking of buying one.

  • The only useful feature of this is that you only need to use one power point to charge at most, 4 devices. Apart from that, it's completely useless.

  • I agree with u all.I thpught you could walk around using the ph while it was charging.might as well use what came with the iphone.

  • lol the end doesn't look to wireless lmao... Why have wires for a reakin wireless charger O_o. Dude u just wasted our time and your money.

  • almost as useless as the DVD Rewinder

  • @Kirschthollar this is same as solar power flashlight

  • pause at 5:25, does that sound cordless? it looks the same thing,

  • not worth 100 bucks and another 40 for the case. people need to stop being lazy, just take your hand and plug in the charger

  • if your gonna plug that iphone into that wirelss transmitter adapter shit, you might as well use a regular usb cable

  • and boom it is useless.

  • The whole point is to get rid of wires and the requirement to plug stuff in. And look how many wires there are and how much time he spends plugging stuff in. Its awful!

  • haha Soldier has the same case as me!

  • i got loads of plugs in my house so i dont need it.

  • there is a new wireless charger for mac people only that charges any device wirelessely by attaching a usb to the computer and an attachment thats really small onto the iphone and its 30 bucks

  • I just wish u didn't need batteries... Just have a centeral hub and it's like wireless power everywere u go with no batteries or cords just engery being transmitted through air

  • what would have made this product alot better was if the power cube came with a USB port on it. most phones these days come with a USB cable and support charging over USB like my old LG Prada, Samsung G600, all of my Sony Ericson phones.

surely the point of this product is the convenience of being able to put your device down and have it charge right away, without having to disconnect any cables. this doesn't work wirelessly with alot of devices...

  • it cool but ill just stick to my power outlet :)

  • Would be great if you can tell us how long it takes to charge an iPhone.... is it faster? slower? same as plugging it into the wall?

  • its fucking charging without any fucking cordsz

  • wow!!! new piece of junk, eh

  • Whats the point if you have to get a $40 case/cover to charge your phone...

  • thats bullshit..

you can get a universal charger with 20 ports for just 100 ~ 150 PKR (~2$)...

  • WTH?!? The things STILL have to be tuoching? They theres no point being wrieless when you can't even MOVE your iphone. I'd rather be wired

  • @yttobychanthesecond Do you have to move your iPhone all the time? I think the point of this is so that it can be charging while it's lying on your desk, yet still has the freedom to just pick it up and go without unplugging anything. Obviously if you get a call or something you would have to take it off the charger, but then you can just put it back once you're done.

  • Oh, a power bar has surge protection to protect my device.

  • Looks like a really fancy, expensive power bar to me.

  • Complete and total waste of money. It would only be worth it if it could charge without a case, and charge and sync with a computer, all with just lying on the mat.

I can't believe he blew $140 on a device that adds bulk to his desk, iPhone, and saves him a total of 1 second.

  • ya your totally right

  • @Regunirun that may be true, but it is a breakthrough device. Theyre only starting with this, imagine 5 years from now, ittl be amazing! I totally agree with you, but at the same time, its just a start for a revolutionary product in the future.

  • @Regunirun he blew money on it because it's a fun gadget and he gets payed for making this video about it

  • @Regunirun i agree

  • @Regunirun not only that, lets say you are waiting for an important call, but your phone is out of battery. as soon as you start charging, the phone rings, you pick the phone up, and bam, your lose the call.

  • that seriously is the most useless thing ever made

  • @CHEFBLOEMKOOL now thats where youre wrong

  • Ha....you cannot keep the case on and use the phone because no one can hear you...the case covers the iPhone microphone. WHAT A JOKE!!! No one is buying this POS.

  • This is sooo stupid !!! I would not take this for free!!!!!!!!! IT'S SHIT!!!!!

  • its no different from any other none wireless charger. you still have to plug it in to something

  • power mat are relsing battries in june so you no longer need that case for the i phone just swap the battrey over.i do think they are missing out on a recharebel hose hold AA battrey block mabey team up with durcell?.

  • ive also got the iPhone 3g s. Dont get why the images of the green batteri is full, when the the small batteri in the upper right coner in the main menu is always emty???

  • whats wrong with just using a plug and lead ??

  • explained well, but now i don't want to buy it, thought you could just put it straight on the mat.. thanks for the informative video though.

  • Is like throwing money out the window

  • too big =.=, waste money and place

  • Mmmh looks kinda cool but what about the charguing specs for each device? It's like having several "universal" charguing adapters which are not the best in the world

  • how can you afford all this?

  • @sonickemet It's a thing called a Job..You do work they give you money...

  • oh wow, thanks i didn't know that. i thought a job was just to work all day for no pay, but thank you for opening my eyes, i'll take that into consideration when i want to get a power mat. hahaha jk

  • @sonickemet When you work for no pay that's called a volunteer..I'm here to help everyone one at a time.....

  • @hoodedkillaray hahaha ok

  • just youtube alone could provide him a few thousand a month... plus any other job he has ... he has a vid on it. he also wisely spends his $

  • i wish i was a partner

  • Sorry don't like , it is a waste of money...

  • Its cool... but its needless...

    nice videos

  • waste of money

  • So if you dont shell out the extra 40 you still have to plug it in?

  • This is plain stupid ...

  • lol what a gimmick, theres virtually no difference in plugging your iphone into a dock which is wirelessly put onto a mat then just having a dock directly plug to your outlet, since your dock doesn't even move!!!

  • talking on the phone is kind of important......

  • i really just want to put my electronics on there without having to put them on some power cube or extra 40 dollar adapter.

  • Look how bulky the iphone case is, no thanks and if I am going to use a dock, just plug the dock in.

  • Its a really expensive power surge. Waste of money

  • that is a waste i have only one device all in one internet tablet slash phone. one cord thanks but no thanks.

  • What a waste of money. So basically buy our product and then go out and buy all of our accesories for every item you want to charge with it. Besides unplugging from a cord is way easier than changing cases every time you want to "disconnect" you phone.

  • .....the power cube is wireless but requires a "CORD" to plug into some devies.....which connects the powermat with ANOTHER cord....you have TWO CORDS in the end.... at 5:30, he had cords and cords over....in the end it makes no difference, just look fancy and waste of MONEY!

  • So true! Now you just have two cords that can easily fall out of place and stop charging.

  • it's a mat

  • @xshowmethemoneyx What the fuck, you're retarded. The power cube attatches to the mat wirelessly and has a ~3" cord going from it to your device. The mat itself does have one power cord, but overall, it does save tons of wires and such, and it is a convenince. Get the fuck out of here.

  • this is kinda cool but such a waste with money

  • i think this is kinda meaningless becouse i can plug and unplug my psp and my sellphone and the same rate i do with this if it was detecting batteries in devices (in some magical way xD)

maybe i COULD buy it if it was 100$

and more about the same story: how are you going to play your psp while charging it. And another example i have been many times:

My cell phone has no battery i forgot to charge it so i plug it in and i talk so tell me how is THIS situation gonna work with the PowerMat?????????

  • damn thats a good point drago...lol

  • Can you say USB hub? 140 dollars cheaper

  • Perfect! This will be just perfect for my DSi and iPod Touch! :)

  • the idea of it is nice, but there is a lot of things they could fix like the iphone case itself

the price is a lot too

also what iv'e noticed is that it isnt exactly a drop and forget thing. i noticed that you had to move it a little to get it right on the tiny black circle.

now what if someone came along and bumped into the table? the items being charged would easily slide and not be charging anymore

  • WOW what a bad product. That case absolutely sucks, it looks ugly. Why not just plug the fucking thing in.

  • it's like a universal charger. how many universal chargers exist? i don't think there are many. one thing to charge everything instead of a 2-3foot long (or more) cables for every little piece of tech that you have.

  • you cant just put ur phone on it and have it charge!!!

thats the whole reason i would get it!

  • wow for only 70 pounds and then another 35 pounds I can charge my ipod USING A DIFFERENT AND MORE EXPENSIVE WIRE! AND the 'powermat' will only take up four times more room on my desk! Wow... where can I get one now? Pleeease someone tell me.

  • um... did you just say that the mic doesn't work well when the case is on... as in you can't talk on the phone? or did I misunderstand. Seems pointless if that is the case.

  • i wish it didnt cost so much =(

  • what would make it an extreme green charger is if it automaticaly turned itself off if no devices were connected to it

  • i think this product has a long way to go before it will change lives, but good review =)

  • this is rubbish. more of a novelty than a game changer.

  • get a speaker for your ipod plays music and charges

  • This right NOW is not worth it at all, but if people decide to build on this technology, and BUILD IN the actual reciever in every device in the future, then this powermat would be great because all u gotta do is set the powermat in your front door, and just drop your device on it.

  • SOOOOooo not worth it.

  • Cheap way,

Buy a power strip maby 5 bucks or so

Plug all you shit on it Bam! same result as the powermat

    5/5 on the video tho
