The dolls look like the stars, because all of those stars have dolls from their careers. Sabrina has a Disney doll from the Cheetah Girls, Mel has one from the Spice Girls, Jennie has one from 90210, Marie has one from the Osmonds, Jane has one from Dr. Quinn (collectible, hence porcelain), and I guess Cameron has one from All My Children, or maybe it's just a Ken Doll dressed up as superman.

That's why they're all wearing outfits from their alternate careers instead of DWTS costumes.
