Just to follow up, well done RTA, that commercial is a masterpiece - keep them coming, at least you can get entertainment right, and I feel better knowing my tax and rego dollars are at least going towards something other than the police propaganda road sign budget. Speeding is all relative to the ability of the driver, the conditions and the vehicle. Driver incompetence is the cause of 90% of crashes in NSW, usually tailgating, not head checking or crossing unbroken lane lines, distraction etc.

When i first saw this advert on TV i loved it so much, it was only at the end of it that i realised it was an attempt to discourage people from speeding. But seriously the awesome music, the look of satisfaction on the drivers faces and their driving made me want to speed/do burnouts. ^^

The RTA have the right idea and good intentions about road safety however the slogan and context is rather innefective. It's not likely that hoons are going to care what other people think their penis size is when it can be measured independantly. The RTA should focus on the disturbing effects of road tragedies caused by mindless hooning and the aftermath.
