  • how to make that nova text? i know some methods, but can't render it in PNG for logo making:/

  • sick vid man! ive been contemplating getting a t3i ur vid has definitely persuaded me :)

    what song is that btw?

  • How did you get the original option on youtube?

  • not cinematic angles tho you using 1/48 shutter tho?

  • What settings were you using to achieve the cinematic look?

  • the 50mm lens is macro or normal?

  • @diego8551 its a fixed prime lens and has a minimum focal distance of 1.5ft, compleatly useless for macro. very nice lens tho, love the shallow dof :D

  • You just got yourself a new subscriber! please check out my video on my channel and let me know what you think

  • stop shooting at 60 fps

  • Keep a standard color correction, use a tripod, a better actor, amateur

  • @Serouisly Damn it's just some kid, relax.

  • @Carlit0Tit0 never freaked out, just gave some advice to make better videos

  • doesnt look like a film-look, i mean, didn't you adjust the fps?

  • I subscribed to your page can you send me the info on keeping quality when uploading and camera settings !

  • Hey man i am having trouble keeping the quality of my videos ... what do you do to keep the quality when you upload.

  • love the spider web and how you focused it, best part in my opinion

  • Nice video,Do you get that film look by just color grading the video?

  • What are the preference to make this video, ergo the settings??

  • Really good job :)

  • You need to record at 23.967 fps if you really want it cinematic

  • Kind of funny how the 50mm 1.8 only has 5 aperture blades. Canon really outdoes themselves sometimes.

  • A random rope, a fence, some bird feeders, and a kid...THAT WAS THE BEST MOVIE EVER!

  • +1 was it color grading or red giant magic bullet

  • The lense...I have looked up a few for Canon and there is one that is about $200 and one that is up in the thousand range...please tell me this is the $200?

  • @Jdunnuck2 Not sure about dollars, but the 50mm f/1.8 is about 100€ (~200 USD?). It's a great lens ;)

  • getting the t3i with the 18-135 for christmas....this makes me even more excited! I love the 50 f/1.8 and hope to get it at some point too! great video!

  • I<3 original definition :D

  • Can you share your render settings PLEASE

  • hi guys, im a young filmmaker working on a short film at the moment... now before u regard this as spam please give me a chance. im trying to raise $525 in addition to the $2000 ive put up of my own $ on this project via kickstarter (a crowdfunding site)... if u cud give me a chance, n watch my appeal video, that wud mean the world to me.. i need all t support i can get, and ur contribution can be as little as $1... everything makes a diffrence.. so plz give me a chance to make my dream come tru

  • so nice, can't wait till I get this camera in about a week

  • Simple video and amazing results. Good job

  • @joeyisfunny. I was not referring to the focus ring, jackass!

  • Are you using the stock lens?

  • oo Ich Liebe sie 600d seit ich sie habe arbeite ich so fill mit ihr ich habe videoclips mit ihr gedreht werbungen photoshotings ich liebe sie sie ist die beste und so klein und so fill Power

  • You need to cap the frame rate to 24 frames per second. It looks much better than the regular 30.

  • Are you using the 18-55 mm lens to shoot this?

  • Very cool...love the clarity and color choice. Check out my latest video "slow motion water"

    youtube.com/watch?v=CSLcCcv3eas

  • @ronen418 I agree. A great lens for a very cheap price!

  • What were your premiere or AE export settings? The video is only captured at 1080p yet it's giving an "Original" option for viewing implying the uploaded clip was higher then 1080P. And it looked dang good by the way, great color and sharpness even after Youtube's compression. The export info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

  • did u use the focus pull, or the focus points while making this video?

  • @ronen418 yeah, the 50mm f1.8 gives you a rediculous shallow depth-of-field... gorgeous! And they retail for only $125.00!!!

  • try to use a tripod next time

  • songg? :P

  • @Zhavorq Talk by Coldplay

  • if i subscribe will you tell me what settings you used on the camera? pretty pls!!

  • wat lens and video setting did you use?

  • what does the 50mm lens do differently than the stock lens. I am about to buy the t3i with the telephoto 135mm lens, and the stock lens. Should i buy the 50mm lens as well? What will it offer?

  • best lens ever

  • song name?

  • @MrWhiteApples Coldplay song just look at their songs and you will find it

  • How did you get the Original option in the youtube player, what size did you upload the video at?

  • I only own the Sony handycam right now but Im saving for a better camera, perhaps Ill buy a camera similar to this. Looks like its good quality, thanks for uploading the footage.

  • How do you make the video super wide screen, you know 2.39:1 aspect ratio? Please tell me, great video!

  • @TheConnorWilson I will tell you if yo please sub

  • @staticshockpictures Fair enough, done ;)

  • @staticshockpictures that will just discourage people even more from subbing. If you want subs, get them by merits, not by holding people hostage.

  • @staticshockpictures what do you use to color correct?

  • @staticshockpictures I subbed before i even saw this comment. Can i get some tips im new to cinematography.

  • @TheConnorWilson haha Thanks!! Ok you can do this with most software accept for Windows movie maker. I use premiere pro CS5.5, and when I finish a project, I go to the exporting settings and choose witch ratio or type of letter boxing I would like to use and than I export it like that! you can also use the crop effect witch is found in most video editing software. :) good luck and thanks for the sub :D

  • @TheConnorWilson you need to have something called croping

  • Thanks. What shutter speed did you use?

  • I have the 18-55.. How do I set the zoom to 55mm? Thanks!

  • @jazellesmom just zoom in all the way on the 18-55 mm lens and then you should have it blurd

  • @staticshockpictures Nope, not (that) blurred. You see the aperture's smaller than the one on 50mm lens. Instead of f/1.8 you have... around f/4 or something, which doesn't make the depth-of-field -effect (as good as the 50mm f/1.8 prime does) :)

  • @jazellesmom Are you kidding me? How stupid do you have to be to not know how to turn the ring on the lens?

  • Nice video!

  • @OMGItsMitchell sub please

  • How do you focus like that? Is it auto or manual? I'm trying to get the subject in focus and the background blurry in my videos.. I just got my T3i. Thanks!

  • @jazellesmom You have to get the 50mm 1.8

but if you have a 18-55 mm you have to set it to 50mm zoom

    please sub

  • that looks amazing!
