  • Thanks Mate for taking this of ALASKA it did bring back truly great memories to me JAMES Australia

  • you rode on a dl535e

  • that sounds like a RDG (reading) 6 chime

  • @ 1:30 He was a little late blowing the whistle there

  • Its a great Video!

  • They don't move fast, but they are still way faster than the ÖBB is able to move in some parts of Austria ;)

  • I'm riding behind steam this summer and can't wait!

  • I loved riding on this train. I grew up in Seward and there's nothing like visiting Skagway during the summer (:(:

  • What Chime is on #73? It sounds great!

  • You were so lucky having a steam loco. We only had diesel last week on our trip but we were lucky with the weather.

  • I live less than 20 minutes away from 73's sister engine...

  • Where is 73's sister engine located?

  • Number 70 is located at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge Tennessee so is 192, another white pass mikado...and I have to say they are run more realistically at Dolywood. They are actually coal fired and have manual ring bells etc.

  • 2 of her sisters are at dollywood in tennessee

    there # are 70 and 71

  • 70 and 71 are both at Dollywood along with 190 class WPYR mikado #192. 71 is still under restoration. 72 was sent there also, but because of extensive roundhouse fire damage, was scrapped in 1999. Dollywood operates them a little more historically accurate too.

  • @Alaska15Steve 70, 71, and 72 are all at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, only 70 is running....72 was scrapped all except for parts...and 71 is waiting restoration!
