@poeEain go to the mac counter or any good brand make up and ask the person who works there to match a foundation to your skin. thats theyre job so they will surely find you a match, worst comes to worst you can get 2 deff color foundations and mix them according to your skin.

I noticed that when I use BB cream on an everyday basis, I get better skin tone and less blemishes. Just when I started using my current one (Skin79 Triple functions SUPER+) I got a lot of breakouts but my skin somehow got used to it and now it's better on than off~! I do think it's time to try a new one though and I've got a sample with a Dr.Jart BB cream that you reminded me of now! Soon time to try out the Liole Beyond solution as well!

i'm using etude house's bb creams, but i think i'm having breakouts while using it. i'm not sure though since I also sleep late (usually 3-4am) because of my work. it's one of the reasons why i might also get breakouts, but before i only get breakouts when i'm having my period. what should i do? i love using bb creams, gives me perfect coverage than simple pressed powder. :(

@f8589 I have the same problem! I think you just need to experiment with other bb creams because it took me 5 tries and I finally found one that works. Your skin is probably just sensitive to the bb cream you're using right now, so an ingredient used in it is making you break out :(

@f8589 missha is my favourite! its a little bright but oxidises to match my skin tone within 10 minutes. baviphat works really well too and has types for oily and dry skin but their bb creams can be a little dark and thick so you want to let that brand of bb cream oxidise a good hour before going out. I find baviphat BB creams work so much better in pictures with and without flash than missha, but I have broken out from one of my baviphat creams so I would recommend missha, its cheaper too :)

@tracy0816 actually BB cream is better than regular foundation because the BB usually stands for blemish balm which means its like a skin care product and foundation in 1.

I think you should be careful; it might not seem like the bb cream is too light, but when you hold your hand up to your face your face is 2 shades lighter & slightly ashy. I love Dr. Jart--I'm Asian & about the same shade as you in MAC & Revlon ColorStay (& dermablend) & I've noticed the same problem on me under different lights. Now, until I get lighter in the winter, when I use Dr. J, I apply very little & add bronzer around my face so as to not look so out of place from the rest of my body.

@winniebunny512 There are a ton of brands of BB cream such as SKIN79, ETUDE HOUSE, Dr. Jart, Baviphat, MISSHA, the list goes on.

"real bb cream" is basically just a super light foundation & tinted moisturiser mix. Hard to explain but a lot of them claim to have whitening effects to reduce acne scars and even lighten skin tone because in Korea (where BB cream became popular first) the women want to have a lighter skin colour. (i.e. no tan)
