We lose an opportunity to replace more supreme court justices, to overturn Buckley v. Valeo (money = free speech) & Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission (money in politics).  Both of these concepts wrong, and have to be overturned. Enough with the Plutocracy already.

I'm certainly not a Democrat spokesperson. Personally I have voted 3rd party in Presidential elections twice, so I can sympathize with those who would like to see more accurate representation ex: a system in which the percentage of vote gives and equal percentage of representation, not a winner take all system. Even though it's true that Dems and Reps are a like in many ways, there are real consequences for electing a conservative. Esp this year with those crazy nuts on the Republican side.

Yes the climate changes ...as it has since the beginning of time. Sure alternative energy is good...but don't try to force it by artificially driving up the cost our present energy sources. When someone finds a profitable way to replace the ones we have that have piratical applications will use it. No one had to make candles more expensive to get us to use electricity. It was better so we wanted it.Simple.

We need to unite the forces of social justice now. We need the Justice Party to merge with the Democratic Socialists of America, the Social Democrats, USA, the Vermont Progressive Party, and other statewide and national progressive parties to form a social democratic/socialist party like the ones in Europe and the NDP in Canada, but it can't embrace austerity like the left in Greece, Spain, and Ireland.

Well, he's certainly saying the right things...but is he for real? Or just another pandering opportunistic politician, hoping to latch onto the coat tails of #Occupy? He almost seems too good to be true. But, because this country desperately needs an alternative to our current rotten-to-the-core system, I will be paying attention to this guy. What about the chances that he'll derail things? One of the things blamed for Al Gore's failed presidential bid was Ralph Nader's Green splitting the liberal vote. That said, I welcome a party of sanity to remedy the current mess in D.C.

These third party bids are vanity campaigns. One tries to get noticed by being the spoiler. If this guy were serious, he would enter the Democratic primaries the way Eugene McCarthy did, in 1968.
