Hulk might be the strongest character in Marvel (and IMO stronger than any DC character) but that doesn't count for crap if he went up against bats. Superman has beaten hulk in battle, but batman is an even more capable fighter than supes (he even beat supes in a fight). I'm sorry but Hulk loses.
@KangarooNoah Batman didn't beat Superman fighting, he beat him by telling superman he was going to kill an innocent if Superman didn't let him help him, because Superman thought he was just a vigilante. In the end they saved the day and Batman proved himself and Superman asked him about the bomb, in which batman removed it from his own utility belt. But yes Batman is the best because he beasts on pure fantasy super powered characters and is somewhat feasible he could exist in real life.

It is simple logic: It has always been stated that Hulk's strength can increase infinitely; that means that while other characters have limits in the strength department, Hulk does not. He is the only one who has this characteristic, but it just means that he is simply the strongest one there is, not the most powerful one. People tend to argue about this and I felt that I must say this.

Thinking that Hulk's anger has a limit is logical, but it has always been stated in the comics that it doesn't. In fact, technically Worldbreaker isn't his strongest incarnation; Mindless Hulk became so strong that he could destroy Onslaught, who had Celestial-level power, with one punch, and The Thing said "I think that Hulk punched the reality itself" seeing the explosion

And War Hulk (Apocalypse's horseman) is just Mindless Hulk in control of himself; he stopped Juggernaut pretty easily. In fact, Apocalypse wanted to use him to overpower and destroy the Celestials. In WWH, The Sentry fought with all of his power and still lost to Hulk; he even called Sentry stupid before giving him the final hit. BTW, it is well known that Hulk has broken dimensional barriers in the past too. And Celestial-level characters (like Onslaught) are way above Skyfathers, who in turn are capable of destroying entire galaxies; so, Superman's solar system feat isn't that impressive.

Greg Pak has written the best Hulk stories in years. I am collecting now the books and wish to know what book should I buy? Im going to buy Prelude to Planet Hulk and I have Planet Hulk and World war Hulk, plus wwh Hercules and wwh X-men book. But I want to continue read the saga Greg created. I wont read Red Hulk, but what other books continue the saga that began at Planet Hulk?
Another good story by Marvel which is destroyed by their overbearing and trademark facet of status quo. To such an extent the story itself while told means nothing because nothing meaningful actually happens. In the long run, nobody changes, nobody is affected, the Hulk will be the Hulk. I really enjoyed the WWH events!! The events of Planet Hulk made him much stronger and more intelligent! I remeber him lifting 350 billion tons to save the other heroes. I remember him defeating Thor a couple of times! Problem is, the planet in question wasn't inhabited.... You will have to read both the Civil War and World War Hulk. This is pretty much the most powerful the Hulk is ever going to get.

I understand superman lives by a certain code of ethics, so killing is out of the option. Hulk might be the strongest character in Marvel (and IMO stronger than any DC character) but that doesn't count for crap if he went up against bats. Superman has beaten hulk in battle, but batman is an even more capable fighter than supes (he even beat supes in a fight). I'm sorry but Hulk loses.

@KangarooNoah Batman didn't beat Superman fighting, he beat him by telling superman he was going to kill an innocent if Superman didn't let him help him, because Superman thought he was just a vigilante. In the end they saved the day and Batman proved himself and Superman asked him about the bomb, in which batman removed it from his own utility belt. But yes Batman is the best because he beasts on pure fantasy super powered characters and is somewhat feasible he could exist in real life.

I really enjoyed the WWH events!! The events of Planet Hulk made him much stronger and more intelligent! He finally prooved to everybody that he is the strongest and most powerfull character in the Marvel universe! I remember him destroying Onslaught, when nobody else was able to do that. I remeber him lifting 350 billion tons to save the other heroes. I remember him defeating Thor a couple of times! And there are still people out there, who say the Hulk isn't the strongest Marvel character!

@NixKyoimi Dr. Strange, Tony Stark, Namor, Professor X. and Black Panther tricked hulk into going in space to repair a spaceship and they warped said spaceship thinking to a supposedly inhabited planet where the hulk could rampage without hurting anyone. Problem is, the planet in question wasn't inhabited.... You will have to read both the Civil War and World War Hulk. This is pretty much the most powerful the Hulk is ever going to get.

They were not the ones who brought him back to earth. Basically the ship exploded and killed almost everything on the planet including his pregnant wife. How would you be feeling if people who betrayed you were also the reason why you just lost everything? You would be pissed. That's why he is coming back to earth: there will be hell to pay.

Well to all morons here. Superman is STUPID! if he knew about well some basic fighting and about laws of physics then he would know that if he CAN DODGE A BULLET he can dodge everything. But seriously superman are the most stupid hero ever. He dodge bullets that go in 450 m/sec but he cant dodge a punch that go well not even close as fast. I understand superman lives by a certain code of ethics, so killing is out of the option. I till date have not heard of superman ever killing any of his victims(correct me if i am wrong) he always manages to imobolise his opponents, or they somehow kill themselves. Superman has never fought any villain with the intention of killing them. If doomsday was thrown into the sun he probably would disintergrate. so superman had to bury him into the earth to imobolise him not kill him.
