petrucci is the best i have seen to date but i never saw rage and i like alot of dream theater songs but love like 99percent of rage songs. if dream theater got a different singer like michael erickson fromcircus maximus they would own forever. a good singer truley makes the band. rage rules . anybody know where i can get some mind odyssey cd's ?thanks and stay heavy. screw the nurock it's ball less

They indeed striked good with their new album, IMO it rules, we can find some of theri older style songs, and still being fantastic.

It's also has something more of a varabitlity on drums since Terrana left the band, not that Terrana was a bad drummer, he had just a feww little too repetitive rhythms IMO.

well, Herman is a very skilled player but Technique is not everything, much more important is to be able to write a song. Listen to some songs from Dream Theater, Joe Satriani or Victor Smolski and you get goose bumps;)
