  • I wish you were right, but you have been misinformed. The Blasphemy Law still exists in Pakistan. For years, Pakistan's Anti-Blasphemy Law has been used to persecute religious minorities. Check out this interesting video about how un-Islamic this law is, by searching for "QXCEvSs3RUw" in YouTube.

  • Well... I am a persecution activist here in Pakistan... The government cannot abolish the Blasphemy law as they are under alot of pressure from the Islamist extermist... Yes it was announced by Shahbaz Bhatti a minister for Minority Affairs, that the government is trying to negotiate with the islamist parties to abolish this law but it has failed to do so.... So friends the blasphemy law is still standing and alot of christians are being persecuted.

  • Cool! While they're not there yet, it looks like we might honestly be getting to the point where we can actually say to Europe and England, "Are you sure you don't want to be as foreard-thinking and modern as PAKISTAN"?

  • It did?

(Unfortunately right now I'm at a coin-operated internet machine with no sound, and I'm not even loged in to my usual acount)

But if an ISLAMIC nation, PAKISTAN no less, can allow Free Speech and riticism of Islam, there's hope for this planet yet!

  • That's good news. Now we just need Ireland to do the same.

  • Well that's good news!

  • thats awesome!
