It always makes me sad to see shows from the classic 1982 "Diary of a Madman" tour without Randy Rhoads. This was right after the tragic plane crash that took Randy's life. You can tell Ozzy is just trying to get through it, barely looking over to his left side of the stage, wishing Randy were still there. He's said in interviews that he wishes he were on that plane and not Randy. He never really got over it. He lost a dear friend and musical soulmate and we lost a shooting star... †RIP RR†

@DuaLeaD "Right after" were the shows with Bernie Torme. Brad appeared later and needed to learn Randy's parts practically overnight. IMO he pulled it off perfectly, still with a tint of his own style, but it fits and to me sounds cool. About Ozzy - sure he missed and misses Randy, who doesn't. But at this time the feeling Oz was getting most of the time was rather the one of really stoned man and not "I wish this, I wish that".
