But I guess most people are just to stupid to do "research" before they vote for a candidate. He ran under the Republican flag because he is a 'true conservative' - and also because he said it would have been impossible to win under the libertarian ticket - but he underestimated the mass manipulation of the American public if people truly thought as you say they did..

I agree with a lot of what he says, BUT the caveat is that we must be careful about opening the Constitution to change. This will give more chance to taking away our rights. And we will have given them the chance to do so.

Ah..the power of Austrian Economics. They base economic theories on human behavior and history rather than just statistics. They believe that economics is a social science, based on bankers' greed for more money and power and Congress' love of being able to spend without heavy taxing, i.e., monetizing debt from thin air with securities gives them more than taxing. Ergo, we have inflation. But the public suffers the burden of higher prices, losing its purchasing power and standard of living.
