Thanks man! Wah is really fun! I just got a Roland 20XL Loop Station and it's incredible! Pass those exams and then have fun. Let me know what you purchase! Peace!
I feel much much more comfortable playing with my thumb too, i'm making myself play lots of scales and basslines with the fingers to get some more dex.
Dude, you're already awesome, so you're on the right track. I'm probably gonna start posting more here soon - I've been getting really interesting questions and few requests. Maybe today. How was the convention?
Thanks man! Yeah, I need to try learning some songs, but it would appear that I just don't have the patience and would just rather make something of my my own. But you're right, it wouldn't hurt...Thanks for stopping by!
Hey cool man, what are you using for the wah? I used to have a crybaby wah but it was the guitar model, so I sold it as it was for higher frequencies ... :) I'm considering getting some kind of bass model wah, as they are a lot of fun ... and add a whole new dimension ... don't think there's a lot of bass players using them too commonly anyway ...
Line 6 Bass Pod XT Live - badass pedal! For me, it condenses all of the bass effects (overdrive, delay, reverb, various amp modules, even reverse!, and all the effects can be modified and maniupulated at your discretion) I need into one user friendly pedal. The wah's added bonus! There's some internal stuff to be aware of that can affect your output and make you sound like shit if you don't set it up properly. But I love it!
BTW - I've been looking into 'defretting' a bass like you recommended and there's actually alot of shit out there. It takes a lot of preparation and work, and I honestly don't think I can do it without fucking my Yamaha.....? What you think - just have a professional do it? Thanks! Keep rock'n and I really enjoy your vids!
thanks for letting me in on your gear ... yeah, you might want to get someone who's done it before to pull the frets out... it would really suck to chip the wood around the groove and leave your neck permanently ugly... I mean you could still play it once it was filled and sanded, but you wouldn't be a happy guy! As far as filling, sanding and finishing go, that's not very scary, I think most folx can do that quite easily if they take their time, ya know? Thanks and you keep on rock'n too! :D
That's killer brah. You're definitely on to something.

Any footage?
Yeah, I feel you on that one - I could definitely use a loop station as well.
So do they contact you, or do you send out feelers of sorts?
