  • Try using more air movement THAT will control your mildew -not sulfur - Peace- By the way for soil they dont really look that healthy.

  • @bigfootchronmasta Thanks for the advice. This video is a year old. I got PM because I was careless and there was a huge storm, the power went out for 2 days and there was rain water leaking madly into the closet. So 100% humidity and 0 airflow. I haven't had PM since and never plan on having it again. And yeah, I don't do soil either. Hydro all the way. Pretty much an epic fail with those soil plants. Think I got like 4 grams of both together, lol.

  • Well so you must drive your car while sitting in the trunk because its your way of doing it?

We grow pot because we enjoy smoking it, why not listen to tried and true methods of growing healthy quality pot. Instead your smoking sulphur and poisoing anyone that smokes your weed.

  • My next run I am doing a Flat SCROG, screen of green. 2 plants each with a 3x3foot screen 1000watter each screen.

  • @MrAndrewbud420 you're not supposed to run screens in such a small area. lol

  • @scrogking LoL my area is 12x10 each screen will be 3x3 feet. You think I would run two 1000 watters in a 3x3 area?

Read the damn comment before you comment :P

  • @MrAndrewbud420 read what comment. Am I 'supposed' to read your mind now. No one gives a shit about your grow anyways... this is my video channel about my plants. You wanna tell everyone how good you are start your own. Again, you totally missed the point. Has nothing to do with yields or even plants. You do things because someone told you that it's supposed to be done that way. I think for myself. You should try it sometime, very liberating.

  • your supposed to burn sulfur powder not spray it on the plants. Sulfur will stay on your plants for long periods of time. Try getting a burner....

  • @MrAndrewbud420 I take issue with the phrase 'supposed to' in your post. I'm not supposed to do anything in life. Neither are you. I choose to grow weed, I choose to grow the strains I'm growing. I choose to grow with the setups I run. And I choose to use sulphur powder to treat powdery mildew if needed. If you choose to use a sulphur burner, then good for you. Glad that works. Suggestions on ways I can improve are welcome, but telling me I'm supposed to do something, no thanks.

  • @scrogking Smoking sulphur is bad for your health.. Very bad. and looking at your plants spraying them with the stuff is bad for their health as well, you want to see my plants? Their all lush green beautilful bushy. Not tiny little lank plants with burn holes all over them..

Yes YOU ARE supposed to use a burner, whatever moron told you to spray sulphur directly on your plants is a retard. Do you spray the walls to? Mold spores can live on the walls.. Sorry but your plants look bad.

  • @MrAndrewbud420 Someone is missing the point. I guess you just do whatever you are 'supposed' to do in life. Never made a decision of your own. Supposedly you are supposed to tell other people what they are supposed to do. What else am I supposed to do? lol about your plants, what does that have to do with anything? And I'd love to see your plants... where's the video, oh yeah, you don't have any. Guess you aren't supposed to make any. Tell someone else what they are supposed to do.

  • @MrAndrewbud420 Oh, and my tiny little lank plants got me 14 oz. Of course they didn't turn out the way they were supposed to, lol.

  • @scrogking Wow 14oz... not even an elbow. My last crop under 3 600's got me nearly 50 ounces 3 elbows... blueberry x c99.... Have lots of pic's to prove....

You want to keep those plants 100% healthy, health = more bud. Your stressing your plants spraying that stuff on them.

  • @MrAndrewbud420 Good for you champ. I guess I should listen to you now.

  • @MrAndrewbud420 you only got 3 lb's from 120 sq.ft of grow space. I'm working with 7 sq.ft.

  • spider mites ..well thats wat it looks like cus i had them too and my leafs were looking like that

  • @MyTruth420 Nope... I've never had mites. I was just curious what people were thinking about this. The spots are residue from sulphur powder that I sprayed on them to fight Powdery Mildew. It worked great. Thanks for the interest. peace

  • damn thats a pretty bad infestation...

  • @MyTruth420 what is it that you think they are infested with?

  • паутиный клеш все растихи поедает а хозяин хвастаитса ростением видны жи точки белые

  • excellent

  • An 8 week veg cycle is an enormous waste of power. that is the logic of sea of green, hardly any veg power or nutrients, straight from clone to nugget. You should consider that while you're burning lights 24 hours a day for months, probably doubles your power bill and your footprint. Looks dank nonetheless....

  • @KushMasta42 thanks for the tip. I say this exact thing to people who ask if they should grow this way. It is made even worse by the fact that you have to trim off so much of the plant too. You have to admit though... the plants looked pretty cool all spread over the screen. Giant waste of resources- yes. A lot of fun- yes.

  • i like ther vertical grow but i would much rather do your horizontal scrog setup. i was reading the comments and im pretty sure they havent checked the most recent videos. nice looking grow KING as usual

  • Da sind überall Brandflecken auf den Blättern.

Der Raum wird zu heiss, bzw. die Pflanzen sind zu nah an der Lampe.

  • open the door, and its heaven's light

  • I'm sorry but I don't see the point of doing a VERTICAL SCROG. Light does not penetrate into your plants. It's just silly (sorry) Vertical is made for SEA OF GREEN, that is to say a high number of little plants, and the most important : plants mustn't developp side branches : they must grow one main cola.

Change your set up man, it's not efficient at all.

    No offense meant, just advice!

  • @ShortGrey1 people like you are just too much. You don't see the point of something so I should change what I am doing. I have 7 sq ft of canopy space if growing flat. I have around 30 when growing vertical. Easy decision in my eyes.

  • @scrogking hey man I didn't say the vertical system is not the best one. It's clearly the best system. But this system works efficilently only with a SOG system, not a scrog.

You should look at Brastheonion's vertical grows on yt or his pictures on internet ( Heath Robinson s vertical grow) The benefit of a vertical syst is that plants get the light not from above but from the side, so buds grow a lot bigger. But if there are stems and leaves that hide that light, it's useless. thus Vert SOG

  • @ShortGrey1 I love how you state things like they are "Truth". I say this is a good way of growing, you obviously don't think it is. I never said it was "THE" most efficient way, I don't claim to know the one and only way to grow plants the best way possible, that would be someone else ;). All I know is I got some fat fat buds from this grow. Pulled 10 oz off one plant vegged 8 weeks. So thanks for the 'advice' but you can now take your fountain of knowledge to someone else in grave need of it

  • @scrogking with such a small number of plants it's not bad at all, but you could turn this system into a super productive-light saver vertical grow with more plants. But maybe you have a legal plant number limit

  • @ShortGrey1 you should really just have a look at the two grows I've done since this one.

  • @ShortGrey1 sog and vert ???!!! u fucking us or u for real dumb shit ! sog for regular bulb placement (horiz.) and with vertical u can have fucking trees and get a yield so good, mmmm !!!

  • @stalkerv334 you don't even know what 'im talking about and you're trying to advice me

make some research, then we talk

  • @ShortGrey1 Idiot ! all i can say for your benefit !

  • so you tie your plants to train them, but then you cant spin them correct? center lighting and no spinning is such a waste, your not getting max potential thats for sure

  • @collinb25 I don't understand why you would spin them. I think that is a waste of electric and plant energy. You can have your opinion, but I disagree with it.

  • @scrogking well think about it, how much light is that side against the wall getting? its dark correct? spinning them by hand once a day will not waste electric and you will get alot more production from your plants, why not try just spinning one of them in your next flower and then compare your results, you might be surprised by your findings, i dont care if you do or dont - good luck

  • @collinb25 I've had friends do this and the plant they didn't spin got a bigger yeild. The plant wastes energy moving from one side to the other to get it's leaves in the light. I'd rather the plant put energy into making big buds and resin than moving leaves around. Do you have experience getting more spinning plants? Everyone I've heard that has done that gets less.

  • Nice set up! Vertical is the way to do it!!! no wasted light! nice work...check out my video...all organic

  • How do u switch the water?

  • @jahmaoli808 There are drain tubes in the bottom of the sides of the buckets. THey have shut off valves. WHen it's time to dump water I just put a big bowl underneath the drain to catch the old water. Then to refill there is a hole in each lid I put a funnel in and add the water. To do this however the buckets need to be off the ground, so you can put something beneath the drain.

  • for a minute there when he was opening the door... i thought god came out but turns out something better came out

  • whoa i would not wanna smoke bud if their leaves are looking like that!

uploaded do you have a rough cough or any lung health problems?

  • @anDREWps3085 Nope. None at all. Seriously. Ask me in 40 years, maybe i will.

  • i no u hear dis all the time but wat about your bill and do u worry bout police

  • @princetezz17 My electric bill is something like $120 a month for this. and I don't worry about police because I'm doing this legally. I could call the cops and show them my garden and they couldn't do anything.

  • I have to know how you get your plants all bushy and full of cola's like that. Do you top/supercrop them, or do you just LST them? I've watched your vids year round since the awsome hindu kush grow and I love how you get so much bud in such a limited amount of space. Your scrog vids put the sog growers to shame. I really like how you went all Heath Robinson on your vertical tube grow. But I really like this vertical scrog the best. Keep it up! Only 25 days till' 4/20!!!!

  • @hugoloves2spooge Basically these plants were trained and trimmed. I tied them to the screen as they grew. I only left the main stalk and the branches growing off it. All the branches growing off of branches, I took those off. So only a thin selection of plant was left. Pretty much every budsite left got total direct light. I have a journal on rollitup dot org under the name jigfresh. Has lots of pics and extra info if you care. peace

  • clean grow

  • @scrogking i can smoke... very good stuff. i don't wanna get cancer... by the way my favorite weed is kali mist..

  • yield?

  • @TheLecturer101 10 oz CJ. 4 oz SG.

  • You have serious problem with all your plants man! Not just one or two.

You need to look into them and come up with way to get rid of the funny colors on the leaves!

  • sulphur??? enjoy the cancer!

  • @fuckcomments thanks for the well wishes. I wonder why they sell sulphur powder at nurserys made for edible plants... must be one of those conspiracies. Govt spreading cancer to help the medical industry. Do you beleive in the chemtrail conspiracy too?

  • @scrogking we are all doomed I say!

  • @scrogking Sulphur is a carcinogen yes. Have fun!

  • @fuckcomments retard. sulphur doesnt cause cancer. fungicides do. and cigarettes. and the sun.. but not sulphur.

  • Sulpher burners (vaporizers, actually) will OFTEN leave your major fan leaves with a bit of PH burn from the process. Small price to pay for saving the other 90% of your leaves and most of your bud however. . Nice small scale grow.

  • @TheIrishPitbull08 Thanks bro. I do ok with 7 sq. ft to grow in. I saved about 90% of the buds.

  • @calisnwbrdr1 I kept it at bay. I lost about 5-10 of the buds to mildew. The rest were ok.

  • @Phunkedub **essentially**

  • ah i must comment, misstq you dont know SHIT. Amsterdam huh? yet you are on the youtube looking at this...even though you have the only cannabis museum essentially. your a dumbass. Can i make a suggestion to your grow though? dehumidifier, if you dont already have one. I have just put one in and zero mold or mildew. message me i do have some questions

  • @yakehito We got a museum in Denver

  • this is the stuff mommy smokes before she drives in the car with me and lil sis. At least i think it is. It's either this stuff or some white powder the she snorts before church and going to teach little kids in preschool

  • What happened to those plants they look completely infested with spider mites

  • @Tundravalcoz They have sulphur powder residue on them. Fighting off the Powdery Mildew. I saved about 90-95% of the buds. The ones that weren't saved went to hash

  • good job i think i would have just got better fans the powder um naw not good 14 oz off 2 plants i think that fucking good man keep it up nice job hydro is the way to go

  • 600w club on rollitup, nice job man, my mouth was watering lastnight..and i think i just broke my keyboard :D

  • @NoSacraficeNoVictory lol, right on my friend. Thanks for the comment. The 600 club is my peeps.

  • lookin gud, thinkin ov tryin the vertical thing meself, see how it goes, would work good with sativas i bet!!!!!!!

  • SPIDERMITES ?

  • how in fuck can u smoke that weed with mildew dust all on it? Man its not that serious just grow another batch. U should have had better ventilation in your closet. Other then that the yield is nice.

  • WOW just WOW, very nice hydro

  • the plants look like shit man!

  • @misstq999 well then... you can't smoke any.

  • @scrogking don't worry i live in Amsterdam. i know what i am talking about..

the plants are everything but far away of beeing healthy. if you smoke that shit you get cancer :D

  • @misstq999 lol... because living in amsterdam means anything.

  • @misstq999 You need to back that up with evidence or fkof.

  • @misstq999 i agree

  • @thugnast394 thx m8.. at least someone who knows what's going on..

  • wow those look like shit, what happened to them ?

  • @teeznutz0 are you kidding?

  • @scrogking no i'm not kidding, looks like u sprayed them with some thick shit with the lights on, they look horrible spotted leaves, the setup is nice I'm not knocking ur shit, just wondering what happened to the plants.

  • @teeznutz0 That's sulphur powder I used to treat the Powdery mildew. It looks bad, but the plants were happy as hell. The smoke was pretty epic.

  • Whats up scrogking? I have thought of putting up vids., but there are so many good ones, why. Also I don't have the time tending to 112 plants plus maintaining a 36 site bubble cloner (DIY,props Utube). Anyway, dude whats the white shit on her fan leaves? I'm guessing powdery mildew or lime was added to your mist H2O. Good luck......

  • @wrennmilton Wow dude. 112 plants plus 36 clones. I get stressed out taking care of 2-6 plants. The white stuff is sulphur powder residue, I was using it to treat powdery mildew. Sucks. I ended up with 10 oz from the CJ plant. and 4 oz from the Sour Grape plant. The soil plants got me 5 grams... LOL. I think I'll stick with hydro.

  • Not too shabby bro. There are other things to use against PM like milk, and neem oil. Though I would recommend more ventilation and lower temps. A dehumidifier might help too. IMO burners are for larger rooms or glass houses. You should also take care when removing PM covered leaves and plants as the spores can fall onto other plants and spread the PM. All love bro keep it up.

  • How many plants is that on the vertical screen?

  • @MOTIV303 1 plant in each bucket. 2 big plants total.

  • @scrogking Fucking amazing man, good job! Never thought of trying a vertical scrog, but it looks like that shit works REALLY fukn well. Grats! Peace!

  • keep growing your good at it

  • you spray that shit for the mildew on your plants while flowering? looks pretty nasty...but sweet setup tho!!

  • @sPiNcH Either that or lose everything. That's why people try not to have powdery mildew. And thanks.

  • how to you keep it to the wire? tie it down during veg?

  • @keibler8 I used zip ties to hold the branches to the screen. During veg, yes.

  • complete garbage and maybe a waste of dirt water and time. FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol dude. What are you talking about my soil plants? Gotta love someone who picks out something to criticize. Did you notice the hydro trees? Have you ever harvested 10 oz from one plant?

  • im callin internet police

  • @wuddupcuzz white boys tryin to be black you FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for real ou got a vid about lil wayne bein gay why are you judging people on shit you know nothing about?

  • ur gonna smoke that shit with all that sulpher on there??? dude get a sulpher burner and only use it when u need to. putting sulpher like that on plants will cause them to smell and taste like ass down the road.

  • WRONG. Don't talk about stuff you don't know. It tastes just fine. And smells like chronic.

But thanks again mr. helpful... always there when someone need you!

  • @scrogking your gona die from that shit man get a burner.

  • @wyattb995 3 months I been smoking on it. Nothing wrong yet. Thanks for the concern though.

  • @scrogking All the best growers in the world will tell you that sulfer will change the taste and smell! Or are you trying to say you know more then GreenHouseSeeds people who have won over 30 HTCC awards or countless other sorces? Oh 1 more thing if you dont get at least 10 oz off a plant that big you suck. If you like what you grow then good for you but dont act like you are gods gift to cannabis. And in my expert opinion I would say you are a middle of the road grower and you got a way to go

  • @tdsbigdady wow dude. What crawled up your ass? I don't claim to know more than anyone. You seem to read a lot into what I write. Curious you feel the need to tell me and everyone else how 'average' you think I am. Thanks for sharing your opinion. Apologies if you think I am acting like God's gift. Should I stop posting videos, or just not answer peoples questions? Or should I just stop growing becuase you don't think I'm very good? I'm just trying to have a good time. jeez

  • great set up man I am glad to see you are so diligent with all of your notekeeping and attention to detail and yes powdery mildew does suck and is hard to get rid of and I love how people look up a few things on blogs and report them to you as if they are experienced growers. just shut the fuck up nobody cares you fuckers obviously dont have any experience or it would be your fuckin videos up here. anyhow keep up the good work and how early do you start training them to the wire I want to try

  • @bigdawg220 Thanks for the love bro. I start training them pretty much right away. I put up the screen when I got the clones and as they grew I tied them back. My current grow with the querkle, I started tieing them back after 3 weeks of veg... but they were growing really slow.

  • Happy harvesting!

  • how do you clean the reservoir?

  • I don't I just drain the water once every 5-7days.

  • That is the near embodiment of my ideal closet grow setup. Where did you find the glass enclosures for the bulbs and how do you have them mounted upright? I assume a fan is attached to the end of those to keep hot air vented directly out of the space.

  • Glass from Michaels craft store. Cost $7 each I think.

They are mounted using Hardware Wire, and a long construction rod type thing... don't know how to eplain. Somthing you'd use to make a big metal shelfing unit out of.... that is held up by wood bracing.

  • I think REBAR is the word your lookin for on the construction rod thingy!! just thinkin!!

  • That would be a little too strong for holding up the glass... but thanks for the effort bro.

  • hey scrog, check out limbolimbo98 vids and he does the veg for 2 days after 10 days from cloning!! he ends up with HUGE buds!! almost uncanny!!

  • actually it limbolimbo68 !!!

  • I say god daimn, how much are you expecting from these :O

  • I would love to get 16-22 ounces. I think at least 16. Maybe 6-8 from the Sour Grape, and 10-12 from the Casey Jones.

  • I don't understand how you get powdery mildew...

  • uh..... it is because I am a dumb ass. I redid the construction before the grow. I completely didn't seal the roof around the fan. So of course it started raining and rain water poured into the grow room. It got everywhere and made things extremely humid... got on all the leaves. It was like that for about 2 days.

PLUS... i didn't have but one tiny fan for the whole room. My own damn fault.

  • so high humidity or moisture can cause powdery mildew

  • if the leaves are laying on eachother they can trap moisture between them, and if there is no air circulation and it isn't very hot... then the moisture won't evaporate... that is what causes bud rot, and it can cause powdery mildew as well.

I could be wrong, but I'm almost postive that's what it was.

And just to be clear... it wan't just high humidity... it was like RAINING in my grow room. There was water everywhere. Not humid... strait up wet.

  • haha well I didn't figure that much water got in but, yeah I know about bud rot and how it happens just didn't know about powdery mildew. How are is the sour and casey jones now?

  • the sulphur has the PM in check. They are real good looking. I've gotten used to the white sulphur spots on the leaves. I think I will spray it once more and that's it.

I should harvest around new years or something.

  • sick nasty

  • nice idk how long has it benn flowring for?

  • Been 12/12 for 3 weeks here. Preflowers showed a week after 12/12. So this has been about 11 days since flowering started.

  • I am looking to attempt this with a few moms i just started.

are there any problems you ran into with the vertical scrog that could have been avoided? I also dont have a MH and am running a bunch of 48s, which is working just fine for Veg, and a 400w hps for flower.

  • No problems really to speak of. The main thing is I thought the plans would get a lot 'taller'. I guess it was becuase I vegged them from the sides they grew really 'wide'. It's ok... just that I was thinking they would fill the screen differently.

Also... smaller plants would be good. It looks like all the ends of branches around the sides are going to be big producers, while all the stuff in the 'middle' of the srcreen looks weak, if i could have had more plants it would have been good.

  • dude is that soil or hydroponic?

    and how do u water?

    and how many plants?

    freaking awesome

  • It's both soil AND hydroponic. The two small ones are soil plants in 2 gal pots. The two big ones are hydro plants in 5 gal DWC's.

To water the soil plants I just take them outside.

To water/ refil the hydro, I use a separate 5 gal bucket to mix the nutes and then use a water pump to move the water into the DWC.

    4 plants total.

    Thank you.

  • looks like u burnt them of u have spider mites really bad but i dont seee any webing

  • No burns or mites.

If you are talking about the white spots that is sulphur powder to treat the powdery mildew.

  • fuckin beautiful bro, the vert scrog is coming out like a champ... keep it up and keep us updated

  • cant wait to check it out when its finished, nice 1

  • its shapein up nicely bro 5*

  • love the vert scrog sorry to hear about the mildew

  • looks like a jungle in there cant wait to see next vid

  • starting to fill out nice bro

  • dude the plants look awesome! cant wait to see more vids once the buds start gettin nice and fat!

  • nice plants ..u should check mine out..tell me what u think..do u give it water only or nutrients with water..??

  • You definitely need nutrients with the water. I use RO water. My nutrients I'm using at the moment (i use others throughout the grow): Dutch Master : Advance Flower A + B, DM Max Flower, DM Potash+, DM Silica, DM Zone, and Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus.

  • 1st door way to heaven ????????????
