@zeldafandude99 What the fuck does crysis have to do with anything? I don't like my laptop because it's dell... and before you go on about buying a dell, i didn't buy a dell. I received it as a gift. I have sat on the phone with dell for hours because they can't resolve shit. My battery was fried, the USB ports on the left don't work, the Touch Bar doesn't respond, and i have gone through 4 wall chargers. I have had this laptop for 5 years... first couple of years were great, now it sucks.

I have had this laptop for just over two years but recently the external plastic where the silver frame around the screen and the black lid meet has seperated and come loose :/

Ok...I have this Dell studio 1537 which has a blue tooth sign next to the wifi sign....But I never figured out a way to turn it on...Tried many times but didn't work....Recently I have been noticing these sounds of waves from my speakers...>Like you know the sounds that you hear when your phone is about to go off, or something else is interfering with a network....That kind of sound ! What is it ? Any idea ?

They send the laptop to him for a week or two to do a review on it on his website or youtube, then they have you send it back. Goddammit....

The slot behind the battery is for a sim card, so if you want to have internet all you do is buy a sim card put some cred it on it any you can use it if there is no wi-fi or ethernet cable.

You can downclock it when you're going on battery power doing stuff like text edditing or casually surfing the web or check e-mail. Really awsome quad core i7 stuff. I love it!

You should learn about the product before doing a review on it. As has already been stated the slot behind the battery is a SIM card slot (but you still need to purchase and install the applicable internal card depending on which service provider you have), the button on the opposite side of the power button is the WiFi finder button, and the amount of cells does NOT reflect the amount of hours you'll get out of a battery.

No, the number of battery cells doesn't equal number of hours. Even though, 9 cell batteries have about 30 % longer battery life, than a 6 cell battery.

piece of crap if you're using it for music (as I do as a DJ). run DPC latency checker and you'll see there's a spike every 3-4 sec which causes massive audio distortion. it's caused by "acpi.sys" and can only be disabled in XP. Sorry Vista users you're sh!t out of luck until the BIOS is fixed...

I use ASIO4ALL and am well versed in computer audio - the issue with Dell Studio's (and some other laptops) has nothing to do with this, it's a problem with the integrated power-saving controls. Have a look on the internet - everyone with a Studio lappy has problems if you are using it for live/production quality sound.

FYI - latest BIOS (A09) has helped resolve this somewhat but still not where it should be.
