I have a blendtec and a vitamix . I did the test and blendtec is able to make apple sauced , it doesn't work whole for me unless there is liquid. I have to chop the apples.
Hey idiots ... obviously the apple needs to touch the blade in order to blend. If you'd read the instructions, you'd probably know that, but like most people you just throw the manual over your shoulder and start doing whatever. Nice confirmation bias in just assuming it's the Blendtec's fault and not your own. I have both machines and I make apple sauce in the Blendtec with ease because I put the apple in first, just as you do on the Vitamix, and no tamper is needed. Morons.
Not fair. Blendtec can't really blend banana first. Apple then yes. U try blending the same thing but this time in this order: 2apple uncut and the banana on top u will see the big difference. This round should go to blendtec.
You put the apple in first in the vitamix, but the banana went in first in the blendtec. When making a comparison like this, make sure that the only factor that changes is the thing you're comparing. In this case: Blender model.
I plan on buying a vitamix, but gave thumbs down for this video for reasons outlined by others below.
