As for whatever they evolved into, you might be surprised by his work in early 70s - e.g. Manchester '73 gig, the 1st 3 LPs or any live gigs up to '78. It truly was a homespun effort that grew with serendipity, gigs as market testing labs, and jim beach wheel-dealing. mostly shut out of US market tho.
