Subaru WRX - Cobb Turboback Exhaust

drone is terrrible.. id rather a quieter exhaust, which doesnt give as much drone, specialy on the highway! ur ears wouldve had it by the end

@enzo2enzo2enzo I've had this exhaust now for 5 years, it has a slight drone on the highway. But its not loud enough to bother me and I can just turn up the radio and I won't hear it at all.

its a very good system. little to no cabin intrusion. tucks up under car nicely un like your typical ricer style drag the ground fart can.

Yes you can but not for long. You will eventually get a CEL. I would strongly advise getting an Accessport to unleash the power in the 3 inch Downpipe! :)

This exhaust is your best bet if you do not want it to drone, I have the same exhaust only catless along with a catless downpipe/up pipe so I'd imagine its a bit louder then this but still not bad.

$300 barely gets you a good downpipe, let alone a full turbo back exhaust. then, that doesn't even count how much it will cost for a tune. Cobb turbo back exhaust is ~1200. Tune (cheap open source) ~$50.

I second that motion, I have the cobb cat back exhaust and a laundry list of mods and its loud enough for people to realize this is not a stock car but it really does not grab a insane amount of attention from cops.

It's not quiet, by any means, but it's not loud enough to catch any unwanted attention from the cops. It's loud when you give it excessive gas but if you're just cruising or at idle it's perfect. So just don't haul ass around cops and you'll be a-ok. :-)

Nothing beats that tone that it lets off though! I wish I could haul ass everywhere I go just to hear the beautiful boxer symphony :D

i drive an 04' with a 4.5 inch tip on my exhaust....and ive thought about getting this exhauset because the cops wont pull you over for having a 3.5 inch tip

Its a 3.5" tip and I hate the look of the canister exhausts. Not to mention those retarded things just draw attention from the cops.

The Cobb Exhaust looks almost stock & thats how I wanted it.
