  • How did you ripped the vocals from the music in the scene? Isn't there a soundtrack without the speech?

  • Good, but you need to do the Dutch accent and be more emotional at your memories 'being lost'. You're just saying the lines!!!

  • wat is blade runner all about?

  • I'm not an acting critic but I'll assume you posted this to receive all forms of comments.

In short I'm glad to see someone honoring this aged classic.

Your acting is decent but I feel it's the wrong tone.

You're delivering a spiteful character. "I'm dying and you don't get my memories, haha!"

Rutger delivered a character that was disheveled in the knowledge that his knowledge was effectively spit in a river. His statement was to say that Even His epic moments would be lost and gone.

  • wooooooow :D

cool :) but a question = you dont know how to animate the Blade Runner Spinner ?

  • Really cool job mate, nice work!

  • very impressive

  • my god he looks like that bloke out of equilibrium dupont

  • not sure if I needed the side by side comparison, but the performance was admirable. And I agree with littledingy, refreshing to see something that didnt just degrade the original for a cheap laugh

  • Wow interesting. and nice job. I thought you were going to be silly but I was pleasantly surprised.

  • fantastic - ur the re-enactment man.

  • Hehe, thank you! :D

  • Brilliant!! wicked stuff man... cooooool

    SmieyKai

    Lodnon, England.

  • Blade runner is definately a great movie and you made a great tribute to it :-)

  • your idea to do this and then compare the 2 films is very original, it must take ages to do.

    Great work

  • Thank you, yes they take around 2 weeks each to plan, shoot and edit! Thanks for your support :-)

  • heheh is all wrong, bad angles, why you even mention CGI RAIN? please.

    Try again.

It is cool idea, but you aren't even close with facial expression to Rutger.

    cheers

  • thats hilarious

  • Not bad...for a human - good effort:)

  • Not bad at all.. Did you know Rutger wrote that speech in his trailer and they implemented it into the film? One of the best scenes ever in my book..

  • good work

  • Ha! Pretty Good!

    Take Care,

    James.

  • lol pretty good but im sorry mate rutger hauer makes that script and no one can do it better nice to see how much people are moved by that scene though

  • BRAVO!

5 star job. Did you use blue canvas or what was the blue material on the backround?

What type material is the best?

  • Pretty impressive... But Rutger Hauer does these "quirks" with his eyes at times... fuckin' effectful... like he's in terrible pain, mentally or physically

  • Yes i know what you mean - he's great. I tried my best :-)

  • and as long as your best is pretty damn good... it's still worth the effort ;)

  • Bravo! Better than the original, Rutger Hauer has nothing on you.

  • Brilliant. You should do some more from this great movie Stu.

  • Thanks Rory, I really appreciate your comments.

  • it is a nice try, though it seems like you're a daddy saying bye-bye to his kid going away for the summer.. there's just a lack of the "i'm dying" thing... it's too lovely..

plus you need more rain to make your face wet, in order to be more realistic in the scene..

  • teach me

  • Great job !

  • Thanks so much! More to come in the next few weeks so keep watching! Merry Christmas!

  • wow...

  • Mate you Know me mate i think your a legend!

  • Well done StuEvo. Your choice of this scene is class.

  • Maybe I'm not the first one who say this, but you remind me of Russel Peters, hehe.. ^_*

  • Actually you're the first person to ever say that! Do you really think I look like him? I didn't know who Russell Peters was until I just looked him up - he's funny, but i'm not sure i look that much like him - do I?? If I do, then perhaps I should work on an impression of him!?

  • Yup! I really think so! :D He's my fave comedian. It'll be great if you can re-enact him, especially with the indian accent! ^^ please do! oh please do! hehehehe..

  • OK Kitty i'll do you a deal, if you subscribe to my videos and i will try my best to do a Russell Peters impression before Xmas and upload it here on youtube, i'll have to practice quite a bit! :-)

  • Awesome! Great to see more of these. You have a knack for getting it right. These should be shorts on channel 4.

  • Thanks mate! I do try! :-)

  • Excellent remake, well done!

  • Great video, I saw this movie just last week! Awesome job putting yourself in the movie!

  • Wow, you were very close on your speech. I like that you put both the original scene up as well as your reenacted scene. Tell me, how is Vegas 6? I have been thinking of trying it.

  • Thanks so much for your comment - i love Vegas 6, it's better than Premiere Pro for keying (compositing) in my opinion. I'm no expert, only self taught but if you need help with Vegas just ask! :-)

  • okay question: i use vegas 7 and i tested bluescreen (i tried it with a white wall) very often. but everytime i did it, my face is invisible too, or i have these silly edges around me. whats the fault?

  • You can't use a white wall - that's your problem. You need to use a blue or green screen (hang a sheet up or something similar) then play around with the settings in Vegas to make the blue or green background transparent.
