I've been trained in police tactics and taken several self defense classes and worked security at a government contractor where we were trained in the use of batons and other weapons and unarmed combat. It was only recently that a writer took notice that these people were around and he coined the phrase "real life super hero" and started the website and getting them noticed, and letting them know about each other as well. Other than that, they have been working under the radar, without need for publicity, because thats not what they are about. And yes, they all have skill s and weapons, and workout and train, and are prepared.

We need heros, and not one's that wear a badge, but just your average citizens who take time out of their lives to make a difference in the world.
