CERTAINLY the war in Iraq would not have happened if it was not because of religion.
I can imagine how the USA could have been in a much better financial shape and a technological leader if the same more than half a trillion Dollars were used on government funded energy R&D, solar power panel factories and wind mill factories instead of that idiotic war!

I think it's ignorant looking for physical proof of something that is not physical (in the traditional sense). But as I've said previously - if you insist on physical confirmation - this material world is physical proof enough of God's existence.
The question shouldn't be 'Does God exist?', it should be: 'In which FORM does God exist?'...
Your body is a porthole into this reality for your consciousness to observe and experience. We have forgotten this and believe what we see around us is all that exists.
When you die, your consciousness is freed from observing this 'game' we call reality through the body we thought was us.

I`m in awe of what science has discovered to date about the smallest particles or waves to this humongous universe of which we are but a nano, nano etc., etc., part of.
