As for lupus, I've seen it first hand in my aunt and a person in my class, from school. They only had spots of bleached skin, on like 30% of their skin. The rest was olive.

Then again, lupus is just a skin depigmentation. It affects those Egyptians and Hindus with very colored skins equally. And some of their skin is bleached, losing pigment.
This doesn't mean they "become white", or develop leprosy. Since they don't die, or rot, and their skin doesn't fall off, or bleed to death, or decay or putrify.

I get where you're coming from, I know a lot of people who feel that way, about "white jokes" being acceptable but all others being unacceptable. I tend to disagree. Then again, I tend to be an "all or none" sort of person. I think that people either need to cut it out or accept it, for everyone. I to a certain degree agree, because african americans were slaves, and had a really hard time living in white culture, but white people had it all good so its not AS offensive to make jokes about a white person, as it would be to a "black" person. It is more accepted to make white jokes because there aren't decades, even centuries of oppression against us. Jokes against blacks are worse because for so long we abused them, and that was wrong.
