Thank you for these kind (and undeserved) words. I have listened to some of your repertoire on YT with great pleasure, Your arrangements are spectacular - I didn't realize ragtime music could be adapted so well to guitar, and played so excellent.y. Keep it up, friend, you are an amazing musician.
You played that with great feeling and delicacy. Your style is very soothing.Do you think Is it possible for me to get the sheet music in England? It's a beautiful piece, beautifully played!
Well, thank you for the kind words, but... ...the truly great one is David Thomas Roberts, composer. I first heard this piece when DTR played it at the 2007 West Coast Ragtime Festival; I found it very moving.
You play the piano very well! It sounds really good! Hope to here more pieces played by you! My brother plays and its fun to here him they too! Is it a piece you're supposed to dance with? Ok Thank You for playing its really good!
HI Paul! It's so nice to see you back with yet another beautiful and expressive performance. I happened upon it because I just HAD to listen to your great rendition of Strenuous again (for the umteenth time), and I saw you had posted again. I don't know this piece all that well, so I don't really miss the D section. lol You sound great, as always. I haven't had time to learn anything new lately, but because of your inspiration, Strenuous is currently tops on my "to do" list! Take care — Peter
Hi Paul, nice to see you back with a new one! Beautiful, and so precise but flowing! Section D lots of times does me in, unless I simplify it and drop some notes. So many composers have monster hands, and I run out of stretch....ouch!! I think this piece sounds fine w/o it though.
Hi Karen! Well, you've tickled my curiosity - about whether I can simplify section D to accommodate my hand's limits. It would be awfully nice to play it some way...
Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful tribute to Roberto Clemente. So beautifully played.

Clever and valuable performance for each note to be played... may be as good as the original by DTR, I feel ;-)

A beautiful way to honor a great man who stepped across home plate way too young. Kudos to the composer and to you for this stirring performance!
