@wiggs333 If you think this is heavy, YOU DON'T KNOW HEAVY! Awesome song though and if you replaced the 'Heavy" in your comment with "Awesome, Amazeing, incredable etc.' then you have just earned a thumbs up. PM me if you want some of Dream Theaters epics or some really heavy shit.
@TheAyshunDragon Ive seen loads of DT videos, and Ill admit that they have some pretty heavy stuff as well, but there is something about the melody abou tthis song, and yet so brutal, that is why I like it so much! But nontheless,
I had some panic attacks in the winter of last year from stress related to school and health issues, and I gotta say this has it dead on... It's super intense with moments where you think its ending and it slows down then hits all over again... I never truly got how amazing this song was until I experienced it lol...
@Zakariah1971 There are other inspiring and creative songs from Dream theater, they do have some lighter stuff you stereotyping unintelligent oblivious prick.
Seriously guys, stop fucking talking bad about rock band. Music games are pretty much extinct these days, but back then they were a real inspiration to many people, myself included. Where I come from there is shitty music galore, and games like RB or GH were the only place I heard good music like this. I'm now in a band playing metal music, and alot of that is thanks to Rock Band.
Stop being so arrogant, just because I heard DT first on Rock Band doesn't make you any better than me.
I don't see the problem with Rock Band. It gets people into new bands and maybe inspires some people to actually pick up an instrument. You don't get extra points for saying "I liked this before rock band" no one cares if you did. Just listen to the music eh?
@adam1ooo You are exactly right! Rock Band inspired me to pick up the real guitar and I'm loving it. There are just too many hipsters around now a days looking for reasons to make themselves feel better than others.
@adam1ooo Exactly, I was playing this on rock band yesterday and now i'm getting into dream theatre. Also it inspired me to learn harder songs on drums
@asfarfafar Exactly. I think if you listen to them when the first began or even after they have disbanded the fact that the fanbase grows makes them even better.
@adam1ooo I know I pickd up guitar after playing a lot of GHII, but i was never good with it. But then i tried playing bass for my school Jazz band, now im the lead Bassist in the Wildsiders(my schools top jazz band, they are well known too) and i can created this success to guitar hero's failed attempt of guitar picking up.
@completechaos21 I used to do drums when i was in my first year at High School but lost interest due to my teacher being horrible but 2-3 years later i got into Metallica and i got "Guitar Hero Metallica" and i played a lot of drums in that and with the combination of my love for Metallica and playing drums on GHM i eventually started playing drums now i have been playing drums around 2 years now and i honestly say this that GHM helped a lot with basic drumming co-ordination.
I don´t really suffer from panic attacks but I get stressed out extremely easily, a man who has certain routines and needs and if something goes wrong I start to feel pain in my chest and such..so i can REALLY relate to the lyrics!! and yeah i heard this in rockband and fucking love it...this or constant motion is their best
Dream Theater is probably the most talented band EVER.What they do is pure TALENT,what Justin Bieber/Ke$ha/Lil' Wayne/Beyonce/Lady Gaga and those other dip-shits do,is pure RETARTED-ness.
@hola456comoestas@stealthyfern I liked after rockband, but not from rockband. I found this song through These Walls, which i mostly found because of consequence of Katawa Shoujo. What does that make me?

"Man, I really love Dream Theater" "Oh yeah, what's your favorite song?" "Panic Attack/Constant Motion/Pull Me Under" "Have you heard As I Am? How about The Root of All Evil? No? Caught In A Web? No? Really? How sad..." Typical convo.
@ISesseriI See, that doesn't bother me at all. I hadn't heard a Mastodon song until Rock Band 2, but after I heard it and liked it, I found everything else. But I have been a fan since When Dream And Day Unite even though now I consider that their worst album, but I enjoy James Labrie's voice. Anyways, check out Octavarium the song. @j0hke yeah sometimes they do sound similar. you can tell though because of John Myung's signature "clankiness"
