Hey guys I just want to say that I just tried those moves with my 64 dollar GVP and they totally work! So long as your flat iron carries the heat it all works so don't feel you have to buy just THAT flat iron to get the results it's all about the heat!!! I know! That was freaking amazing. I wonder if my flat iron can do that. Honestly... the guy seriously doesn't sound like he knows what he's talking about. Any straightening iron will work (as long as it doesn't damage your hair). I use the CHI (which DOESN'T damage my hair...) and I bought my sister in law the GVP from Sally's Beauty. It's even better than the CHI for curls because the edges of the metal are more rounded. And ANY IRON can do those hair tricks... this guy doesn't sound very knowledgeable...

Umm.. I beg to differ... A lot of flat irons can damage your hair and not all irons work. some are better qualities than others.

Yeah but listen how he answers his questions... I know that some damage but everyone's hair is different and it's ridiculously priced. There's other flat irons with the same metal and tourmaline and almost all flat irons can do those hair "tricks"

sorry im not pursebuzz but in MY opinion it isn't. i just have like an average flat iron from Wal-Mart and surprisingly it is really great. I just curled my hair like he did it(like where you twist it around your finger) and it looks SOO cool. So ya I don't think it is worth it.

I've used many many drugstore irons and my Turbolon Croc is so much better. It has automatic heat shut off if it is idle for too long which is safer, and its digital so the heat settings are more accurate.
