  • This is hilarious!!!!

  • Una soberana estupidez, pensada sin duda pero estupidez al fin y al cabo

  • I really want to know how they all managed to keep a straight face!

  • Ich bin ein Freund guter Klassik. Das aber ist ein Scheißdreck

  • What utter nonsense pretending to be serious art. Laughable.

  • @violinhunter2 That's the Point! It's supposed to be funny! Ligeti satirized himself and the other avant-garde composers all the time! But it's also complex and very well thought out. Ligeti was a genius!!! :D

  • 8 people are Vienna Philharmonic fans.

  • Is anyone listening to him when he talks at the end? I mean, it looks like they don´t give a s*** and pack their stuff haha....

  • @noirvalentin I think he wasn't talking to the musicians. He was talking to a camera I beleive.

  • Seems Sarah cannot stop smiling.. ^_^

  • i cannot understand...

    whats happen!?

  • Ny

  • A written note for nearly every musical note...that's fascinating!

  • haha, the one on the right looks like my ancient Physics teacher! Actually he sounded quite like the male singer, too! :D

  • That's...so....cool....

  • Congratulations to the BPO for legitimizing this kind of music.....

  • Extreme Difficulty Vocal Technique. The Brazilian Composer Sir Gilberto Mendes will be extremely happy to see and hear Ligeti's Aventure with Sir Simon Rattle. Congratulations to All! Greetings from Brazil.

  • I dunno, it kind of reminds me of Monteverdi.

  • they need to go to the toilet)))

  • so what does the music actually show, I would love to read though that score note.

  • Hehe!! I really liked that! that was amazing and entertaining :D

  • Amazing Ligeti

  • Very entertaining. Music is fun - why not? Must be quite a relief, after the studying of so many "serious" music pieces to let yourself go a bit and do things, which seem totally redicolous.

  • My most favorite posts by BerlinPhil, are the rehearsals. As a musician myself, its fascinating to see what happens at the highest heights of our art. Bravo!

  • Ligeti is almost imposible to play and now... is impossible to sing

  • Wish there was more of a sample of the music... but I'm very appreciative that they released Sir Rattle's comments. He is right- Ligeti is a beautiful thing, and nothing like anything else that I've ever heard. By far my favorite composer of the late 20th century.

  • i love berliner philarmoniker as much as nothing else in music but with all respect i don't consider this as good or even decent music .it is my personal opinion .the interpretation is excellent as always
