  • noise heaven

  • its incredible

  • Listening to this through a stereo system with monster cables and the bass cranked. hard to quantify how incredible this music is.

  • Mad Delays, beautifull distortion and a good melodic voice. REALLY GOOD VIBRATIONS

  • Recording quality notwithstanding, one of the best songs ever.

  • AMAZING.DIOPORCONE

  • 4 people are not aliens

  • Oh my fuck. This is beautiful.

  • I really like this! I just wish I could find the lyrics somewhere...

  • this song just gave me the most peaceful panic attack.

  • @liamandrew11 They (or should I say he) wanted to keep it as DIY and far away from majors studios as possible. Which resulted it the amazingness that is Flying Saucer Attack.

  • the first time i played this album i had a massive white-out from being stoned and this didn't help it any. the room spiinning to this at full blast any wanting to throw up. brilliant

  • why do all their songs sound like theyre recorded with shit?

  • @LiamAndrew11 I think that's intentional or at least as a result of what was at their disposal.

  • @vrmendozavr261 I lean towards the first choice, as mamy similar bands show the same tendency (Bardo Pond, My Bloody Valentine, etc.)

  • @LiamAndrew11 Because are recorded only in vinnyl, and this uploading isn,t the best...

  • @LiamAndrew11 I have friends who refuse to record with anything other than 50 year old analogue equipment. These guys are probably in that crowd.

  • Wonderful!!!

  • The pots and pans we used were the pots and pans we used to cook lentil

    soup and winter vegetables.

  • My favorite FSA song.

  • Wow. It's been years since I last listened to FSA. Had forgotten how much I love them.

  • The production adds a fascinating element to this song. This song very cool.

  • if anyone's informed on how these guys recorded on home stereos please PM me with general details.

  • @Abortive

I am guessing it was quite simple, 4 track tape stuff, quite crude, and low budget.

That said, I am a firm believer that great music can be made in one's bedroom thesedays with a few effects and a laptop....

    good luch with your recording

  • I read somewhere some tracks used pots and pans for percussion. :o

  • Song's one of their best.

  • fucking love this band

  • Great tune...wish I could find some New Lands stuff on here also!

    Cheers for posting this!

  • fuck yeeeeer
