  • @massa101257 and being a lot older than you I drove trains over some of them

  • Excellent!!!

  • Very well taken and edited! Wish a lot more train videos were as well done as your's are !

  • @erniepond1 Thanks, I have some good operators listed there in my other channels box.

  • Nice vid. My high school (1980s) is only a few hundred meters away from this crossing. Cheers.

  • @matube73 And in the swingin' 70's I was living just over the hill in 43 Avenue Road

  • Very interesting! We do have some tram-railway crossings in Augsburg but the railway isn't electrified. It would be a little more difficult because the railways in Germany use 15000 V AC!

  • That is one cool rail crossing. Thumbs up for the video !

  • Nice trains and a very cool location. Thumbs up! :)

    An amazing crossing well filmed.

  • Thanks for posting. I was wondering how the 'electricals' worked when I went through one of these train/tram crossings a couple of weeks ago on a train trip from Flinders Street to Cheltenham, I think around Glen Huntly. The train speed was very slow through the crossing, around 20 km/h.

  • merci pour cette belle vidéo

  • I've heard about this crossing and I would like to learn more about it. I have heard though that there's a speed restriction for the heavy rail trains since the diamond is a bit shallow for them and (I don't know if this is right or not) they sometimes ride on the flanges when they go thru.

  • Very nice video! I like it!!!
