I was driving through that storm recording it with my iPod. For the longest time we weren't even in any rain, just intense streak lightning. I caught several of them on video and they can be seen on my channel. It was without a doubt something to see, let alone being in it in the winds and hail and being the one calling in the storm reports to the NWS.

Nice Video! Between 4:15 and 4:17 there seem to be two so called "Blue Jets" shooting upwards from the top of the clouds.

Looks like War of the Worlds.... very very impressive and the music adds to the drama... never seen something quite like this here in Holland.... I wonder what would happen if you enter such a storm with your a/c, guess all the avionics would burn out and the aircraft would be torn apart due to strong drafts in the storm?
