I just discovered this song from sirius xm radio. i love how subtle the keyboards swarm in between each break in the verses. the drumming is just awesome, bass is solid, piano sounds great, guitar solo is perfect, and Kim just complements Randy when she sings with him. This is exactly what music is supposed to be.

Randy certainly didn't deserve what had happened when he was in the Eagles.His voice has such a pleasant sound, and the melodies are neat too. Randy, you didn't need the Eagles, you did well on your own. The Eagles lost a great voice.

I don't think you can mistake the difference from the beginning of this song with that "Running on Empty" by Jackson Brown. Each have their place in music history. Each have their own unique sound. And I agree, this song takes me back in time (with good memories).

It is, a good song, but I think it wasn't as big a hit was because the opening steals an awful lot from "Running On Empty"

Randy Meisner's best song on an album that is now very difficult to find. Kim Carnes (of "Betty Davis Eyes" fame) lends outstanding backup vocals. The CD/album itself has a lineup of consistent high quality songs. Get the album if you can find it.
