Bill March was a press specialist and to my knowledge his best jerk was only 35 pounds over his best very strict press. He focused his energy on that one lift. His results elsewhere were very good but would not have won today. His press, who at 228 pounds can do a strict 390? Probably no one anywhere. Kazmaier also was a presser and not very interested in jerking weights.
I think the one dislike was his trainer lol. Poundstone is a beast.
