all i have to say is thank you this video says it all. Id like to Say your welcome as a proud mother, sister, and cousin serving in the Military. Our Troops give so much (emotional, physical, spiritual, etc) support to many above all our safety. Which many people take for granted or maybe just do not realize Maybe this video will help...THank You Again...
Well done video & the perfect song. I was a military wife for 20 years & for the 1st ten years my husband was gone 75% of the time and we weren't even at war then. It was hard bringing up 2 kids alone. Most people don't realize how difficult military life is not only in peace but in war. David Cook's Permanent always brings tears to my eyes and is a very powerful song & his vocals portray feeling & meaning. It's about loss & feeling helpless & every person can relate to that.
Thank You all Military Men & Women past & present. You all do so much & me and my family appreciate you all for all that you do! I have a brother who is 24years old and is in the Army he is deploying to Iraq November 12th, 2009 he has been in the Army for 2years and this is his first time deploying over seas You all are in mine and my familys Prayers God is watching and Protecting you all God Bless and Thank You All For What You Do!
THank you for this video. It's the best military tribute video I have seen so far. My husband is in Afghanistan, will be back February 2010. Then I deploy in May 2010. Thank you for your support
tell your husband thank you! my bro is in Afghanistan right now. He left Febuary 25th. Hes coming back for a month in october and goes back to afghanistan until May 2010
My husband is in Iraq right now. He will not come back until May 2010. The first time I ever heard this song I immediately thought of him. It's a touching song and I love it so much.
David Cook is the guy who wrote this song and it was for his brother who had cancer he died not too long ago this song is deep i lost my brother a few years ago so i know how it feels ...god bless the troops
I loved this song before I saw these videos and I have to say that this one had the tears rolling down my face.....Thank You to all the make my day easier, that serve our Country without asking for anything in return!!!!
I had so many tears that I couldn't read the words on the screen, but I certainly didn't want to stop the song. It is so beautiful, the song, the way it's sang and, most of all, the video. My brother-in-law just came home from Iraq the Sun. before Thanksgiving. My niece sent me pics. It was his 3rd tour I believe. God, will it ever end?? Thank you for the tribute. Our troops most certainly deserve it.
This is a touching tribute to our troops during the Holiday Season. It's amazing how "Permanent" fits the tough times our soldiers are going through. BTW, speaking of amazing - David Cook's whole album is just that - every song is great.
It really is! I had the pleasure of seeing him twice in concert this summer. With as much as he put in to his performances and all the appearances he's had to make, it's totally beyond me how he was able to make such a phenomenal record. His vocal chords must be made of steel!! I swear the boy is unnatural!! lol
