I use dive from a platform. We would either enter the water feet first with our arms crossed in front of us. If we go head first which wasn't true. Our arm would be extended and as soon as contact with water, we push the water away, to break it. How did your dad land. Glad they could get out and he's okay. Or did he hit something. Curious

When he disappeared into the water with a loud slap, I thought for sure he was a goner! My stomach was in knots as he leaped. When you yelled out for your dad I was terrified. My worst nightmare is if something happens to me that leaves my son without his father.

I love cliff jumping and my advise would be to releave the water tension by thowing a large rock in before jumping to make the water ripple. It would have hurt a lot less. My respect goes out to your dad dude. I chickened out on a 70 footer. This cliff is atleast 100.

@lxsosna apparently some1 measured it and its like 150ft it looks alot higher in person than on the video...it literally sount like a shotgun went off..echoed and everything..ppl down on the opposite side of the cliff heard it and assumed it wasa gunshot..
