This video used to play properly for me but now appears stretched out horizontally and compressed vertically. Any way to correct this? It is an excellent video but is difficult to watch the way it looks presently.
No, no, Wang's tai chi, hsing i and pa kua learned front Chen at first, but he learned hsing i ang pa kua from another teacher leter. But he didn't admit that.
Why would Mr. Wang practice martial arts taught by an inferior artist?

Chen Pan-ling was a running dog (dzou gou) of the Nationalist (Gwo Min Dang). Wang Shu-chin was a force of nature. No contest!

Wang Shu-chin was an accomplished Pa Kua and Hsing I master before be arrived in Taiwan and met Chen. He was also a much greater martial artist.

Actually, Chen was not Wang's teacher. Wang's tai chi had elements of hsing i and pa kua but was derived from the 99 form that Chen played.

Wang's master is Chen Pan-Ling allegedly, so he played the same tai-chi with Chen Pan-Ling.
