You forget how much of Crosby's game is his strength and fitness, rather than hockey skills. You also forget that Crosby plays in an NHL where there is absolutely no hooking, grabbing, or obstructing.

Go watch peter forsberg highlights. Then you'll realize how easy today's skilled players have it.

These were all great goals and plays of the decade but not of all time. Watch Bobby Orr. Not just the overtime goal in St. Louis but he was and is STILL the greatest hockey player ever . Orr's best season he was + 124, Gretzky + 98. He had 49 fights in 657 games he played, thats more than Howe, Gretzky and Lemieux combined.Orr is STILL simply the BEST!!!!!

But others will argue Orr as the greatest (+124 in one season, who can blame them). Personally I believe the two are tied, Gretzky personally re-wrote the NHL record book but Orr revolutionized his position.
