I am an American and I am sickened by how my government has been responding to this horrible disaster. With simple alternatives such as this, I don't understand why they would not implement it along with other possible natural solutions. This info appears to be an attempt to ramp up fear. Even if Mr. Obama is a fascist, he wouldn't want the country to literally be destroyed. Rational thought tells us this information is bogus. He is using the spill as a diversion to cover republican backing of health care reform. He is also using this catastrophe to further the UN's economic propaganda on a "green planet". BP is going to suffer great financial losses over this making them motivated to find a solution, while Obama is thwarting the world's efforts to help.

@ben5017 It is an unfortunate mistake at best. People are far too "suit happy". What's done is done. The pressure needs to be on who and what is being done, or not done, to clean it up and stop it. Check out 1979; same rig, same spill, all done. The earth recovers itself. Humans are more fragile therefore being forgiving while offering our aid due to the exigencies involved is what American spirit is all about.
