@jrtown79748 its a glitch that the phone has. theres really nothing to do about it but replace it. i've had the phone for like 5 months and it does that daily for an hour or 2. the glitch really just gets worse until the phone is useless.
in the end the Cosmos isn't a very good phone anyway/

@MrNicholas20 As far as I remember it does not have a flash only a Infrared sensor for better night pictures. Also a self portrait mirror located right under the camera lens. But no flash.
The only reason y the soft keys aren't really noticeable is because u have the black or gray(idk) intensity 2 and I have the blue one and they r noticeable
@vanessa131517 Yeah the soft keys to blend in very well with the screen & frame. I suppose it is more noticeable when up close or at different angles but just not far away or it could've also been the screen protector that I still had on.
@vanessa131517 well it's kinda hard to say since I don't have it anymore haha, but as far as I remember it was a gray chrome or just chrome with a dark tint on it so it makes it look pretty dark which blends into the black soft keys. Yeah looking at some product photos they are noticeable but not as much as the cosmos. Yeah I didn't really do a good job on the video wish I could now but far too late haha.

@John15349 Yep it's usually Free for 30 days more or less, but it will notify you once the trial has run out, until then you can pick to continue or not. Yeah just take notice of your bill and see if there any any charges if so give them a call to cancel it, but as far as I know it's free trial for sometime and then it will ask you inf you want to continue using for a certain price.

i have the intensity 2 and i really like it. its good 4 messaging and it has very good quality. i dropped it in my cereal bowl with milk in it and it hasnt reacted at all. its amzing.
@devilishangel1099 Nice! Yeah it's somewhat decent, yeah I've noticed that some phones seem to work fine even after some water damage. My first Samsung phone went through the washer 7 dryer for at least for than a hour and when it came out it went to the Verizon start up, and in the end all I did was need to replace a battery. Samsung has get me supporting them until now!
@John15349 Well that is a extra feature that lasts for about 30 days after using the phone, after that they ask if you want to continue the service for a monthly fee. I'm not sure how to turn it off right away but I know after 30 days and declining the continuation it will stop.

Then pretty much you make a account and see how many click on your ads and see how much can earn, but then for me they picked the worst video so I made nothing, now I believe they took away the service and just them Ads on any video they want to. You can also sign up at Google Revenue or something like that but like I said I don't even see the list for the video anymore so they took it down.

@ihatethisphone69 Haha pretty much any Feature phone on any carrier is complete garbage. The only decent phones made these day are the ones that require a Data plan. That's why all I do every upgrade is pick the most valuable one and resell them then switch back.

@143yamaha I do agree but I guess some people like to show off their mobile device or maybe get more apps by using a touch sceen. For me I don't text or do anything other then call on the phone. Now I got rid of both these phones within a week and went back to my older phone due to their quality. All feature phones are simply not to my standards today, of course I don't want to pay $30 extra so I keep my nice 4 yr old Samsung PDA.
The cosmos is good if you're a clumsy person like me. trust me, they don't break easily... I droped mine in the high roller ride and it didn't break. And I've droped it sooo many times. It only has minor scratches also

@Lenrock721 I think if you fall behind on payments for month to month. They lock your account until you pay them back fully and possibly cut service for a while, and your phone will also have a Bad ESN which cannot be used on any Verizon account unless those payments are paid. The cash cards are only for Pre-Paid. So if you don't have money on your account for Pre-paid the phone doesn't work. I'm not exactly sure about this best is to call them and ask about it.

@Lenrock721 Well there are a lot of plans to choose from. The cheapest plan is $40 a month with only 450 minutes. For data or texting it would start from and extra $5 - $30 per month. There are a lot so I can't list them all, but if you go to Verizon Wireless.com and go to plans it can tell you the prices and plans for individual or family lines. You can bring the phone in a tell them you want to start an account and there will be no contract.
@Lenrock721 So month to month is pretty much a basic Verizon account/plan. You pay month to month with a certain limit or minutes or any other services you add. So if you want to use any phone on PrePaid you need to buy a Verizon phone either New/Used/Refurbished that's not active on a Verizon account. Then take the phone or call Verizon to activate it on a PrePaid account. You can also do it online too, and as long as it has a clear ESN you can use in on Verizon on any account.

@BPAB12 Well the Intensity is more for looks but the Cosmos is more for quality. To me they are both very similar to each other by the same functions. well in 4 months im getting the new lg cosmos for an upgrade i had the lgvx8360 and its a good phone but i like slide phones that looke like the rumor 2 but on verizon cause me and both my moms get new phones in may of this year...
@tristanlee11 Cool, The LG Cosmos Touch right? I think the VX8360 looks very decent but I have also kinda moved onto sliding & candy bar type phones too. I still have about I'd say a year and a half before my contract is up before an upgrade I was thinking about doing a one year upgrade a getting less credits but a new phone but I read that they might be taking that option out because of the new iPhone on Verizon, But I guess we'll see.

@parksman2112 Well a lot of phones or products are cheap these days. My first phone was a Samsung A670 and it was the probably the sturdiest phone I've ever had. Nowadays ehh. haha.

the cosmos can withstand a bit of beating up. one of my freinds had the cosmos and it got ran over by a car. and it still worked fine.. just the back cover wouldn't go back on. but it still worked .. this was about his 2nd month of owning the phone. and it worked fine till his contract expired and he got to upgrade
@pielover997 Cool, I guess the sturdy feel to it really benefits in accidents or everyday use. I pretty sure Intensity would snap in half if under a car, but I have say one of the most reliable Samsung phones I've had is a SCH-A670 pretty old but has a very strong build. What I couldn't believe is that it went through the washer & dryer and it was still on when I took it out. Surprisingly it only needed a new battery.

For some reason they have seemed to cancel the Google/Youtube Revenue option, I had a account for that and they chose to put Ads on one of my unpopular video, but now it's just a account that I don't use any more haha. I guess you gotta have like a very large amount of subbers and viewers to get it. It's still funny how they asked me then took it away.

@QUIKKSTAR Well what they did to me is send me a message about a video and what they think about it. Then pretty much you make a account and see how many click on your ads and see how much can earn, but then for me they picked the worst video so I made nothing, now I believe they took away the service and just them Ads on any video they want to. You can also sign up at Google Revenue or something like that but like I said I don't even see the list for the video anymore so they took it down.

To anyone who actually wants a good phone do NOT get either of these. I have had the intensity 2 since november and i have had 5 replacements. It is a major piece of crap and a waste of your time. I would suggest any other phones but these. It's no wonder why there free because they suck! DON'T GET EITHER PHONE!!!

@143yamaha I do agree but I guess some people like to show off their mobile device or maybe get more apps by using a touch sceen. For me I don't text or do anything other then call on the phone. Now I got rid of both these phones within a week and went back to my older phone due to their quality. All feature phones are simply not to my standards today, of course I don't want to pay $30 extra so I keep my nice 4 yr old Samsung PDA.

The cosmos is good if you're a clumsy person like me. trust me, they don't break easily... I droped mine in the high roller ride and it didn't break. And I've droped it sooo many times. It only has minor scratches also

@Lenrock721 I think if you fall behind on payments for month to month. They lock your account until you pay them back fully and possibly cut service for a while, and your phone will also have a Bad ESN which cannot be used on any Verizon account unless those payments are paid. The cash cards are only for Pre-Paid. So if you don't have money on your account for Pre-paid the phone doesn't work. I'm not exactly sure about this best is to call them and ask about it.

@Lenrock721 Well there are a lot of plans to choose from. The cheapest plan is $40 a month with only 450 minutes. For data or texting it would start from and extra $5 - $30 per month. There are a lot so I can't list them all, but if you go to Verizon Wireless.com and go to plans it can tell you the prices and plans for individual or family lines. You can bring the phone in a tell them you want to start an account and there will be no contract.

@Lenrock721 So month to month is pretty much a basic Verizon account/plan. You pay month to month with a certain limit or minutes or any other services you add. So if you want to use any phone on PrePaid you need to buy a Verizon phone either New/Used/Refurbished that's not active on a Verizon account. Then take the phone or call Verizon to activate it on a PrePaid account. You can also do it online too, and as long as it has a clear ESN you can use in on Verizon on any account.

@Lenrock721 Nope both can only be purchased through a contract, but you can buy a used or no contract one and activate it on a PrePaid plan. As long as the ESN is clean and you can activate it on either month by month or PrePaid.

@BPAB12 Well the Intensity is more for looks but the Cosmos is more for quality. To me they are both very similar to each other by the same functions. I personally like the Intensity better, but it is very hard for me to recommend which is better since I'm not very fond of either. Sorry if I couldn't help you.

well in 4 months im getting the new lg cosmos for an upgrade i had the lgvx8360 and its a good phone but i like slide phones that looke like the rumor 2 but on verizon cause me and both my moms get new phones in may of this year...

I still have about I'd say a year and a half before my contract is up before an upgrade I was thinking about doing a one year upgrade a getting less credits but a new phone but I read that they might be taking that option out because of the new iPhone on Verizon, But I guess we'll see.

the cosmos can withstand a bit of beating up. one of my freinds had the cosmos and it got ran over by a car. and it still worked fine.. just the back cover wouldn't go back on. but it still worked .. this was about his 2nd month of owning the phone. and it worked fine till his contract expired and he got to upgrade

@pielover997 Cool, I guess the sturdy feel to it really benefits in accidents or everyday use. I pretty sure Intensity would snap in half if under a car, but I have say one of the most reliable Samsung phones I've had is a SCH-A670 pretty old but has a very strong build. What I couldn't believe is that it went through the washer & dryer and it was still on when I took it out. Surprisingly it only needed a new battery.

I do have to say everyone is entilted to their own opinion but in all honesty the samsung intensity 2's battery life is horrible i have to charge it twice a day, the phone is a peice of junk, has problems and will not connect to verizons network, I have had this phone less than a week and its kind of a pice of crap! and internally the system in the phone is slow! thats just my opinion on the phone i'm not trying to bash on it even though I am
