  • the bilevels look a lot like GO's cars, except they're not shaped like octagons.

  • And just for everyone's information, the orange railcar bringing up the very rear of the train is a caboose for the crew. It is a crew car fitted with mini cafeteria, restrooms and beds.

  • How fast is the train moving? You said it was slow but it still seems faster than most cars on highways oh and a lot faster than metros in citys.

  • idk if you ever taken a real express train before but that is really slow. commuter trains where I live and also union pacific freight trains are faster than this.

  • @tornadoexe

I know it's an old comment. But I just did a calculation. The train is moving at roughly 95 kms an hour.

Each rail car is roughly 25 meters long. It took 18 seconds for a 19 unit consist to pass through. So:

    19*25 = 475 meters

    475/18 ~= 26.389 meters per second.

    26.398 * 60 * 60 / 1000 = around 95 km/h

  • hmm... looks like a "L" class service. (extra temporary service added to relief the pressure during peaks such as the chinese new year.) I could be wrong but you hardly see regular service "mix it up" like this. lol

  • Wildest combination possible.

  • There's quite an interesting mixture of passenger coaches on this train.

  • I guess this train is not supposed to run on the high speed line, there might be a fault with "line #3" (the low speed line).
