@ubuntupokemoninc AK's are perfectly legal in the United States. They can however only be bought in their Semi-Automatic versions. Full-auto versions need special permits or are otherwise illegal. You can buy an AK variant in the United States for very cheap, as there are MILLIONS of them left over from the cold war. My uncle bought a Romanian model AK47 for $400, completely legal.

People should have the right to full auto arms anyway. The law doesnt even make sense, aimed shots kill, a mad man with full auto is likely to waste his ammo and not hit as much. And if criminals want full auto there gonna get full auto. Oh well you guys dont have it too bad, not like us in the UK at least.

a nice semi ak made in yugo or china will run about 400 in the midwest or about 600 in CA. Get a Saiga made from the original plant in russia about the same cost. you can get it used too. make sure it 7.62x39. they make .22LR and .223 versions and they suck because youd have the weak power of the ar and the inaccuracy of the ak. THe best is spend about 2,000 get a Ar-10 piston or HKs MR762 which has the reliability of an ak, accuracy and strength of an M14.
