As a Corpus Christi local, I can tell you this has been blown out of proportion by the media. The doctor who examined the child reported widespread bruising, abrasions, and healing arm fractures. This woman beat the shit out of her two year old daughter for "being a crybaby" and everyone's defending her because the judge's words were taken out of context.
