Spartacus would beat Gannicus anyday of the week, spartacus was way more badass and actually had the balls to start a revolt. Gannicus tried to run away before this fight if you watched the series.

Crixus was saved twiced, one by Spartacus (on Theokolis battle), and on this one by Gannicus. Spartacus to become Champ was helped by Crixus (when he used the helmet as sparks to blind Theokolis), while Gannicus to become Champ, he just did it alone. Hey! who else would have one that "street fight" totally blinded as Theokolis was when he lost Spartacus?...GANNICUS.

If in the next season shows up an even much better one?, this series will be epic.

@thenewgeneration123 I've also heard someone say that this "Spartacus" is actually named after the Spartacus that was in the Kirk Douglas film, so I'm assuming that kinda makes this alternate history and that maybe he will live at the end of it all? I'd like to think so.

Not to mention I don't think his body was ever found, historically (if I'm wrong about the alternate history). So even then, maybe he slips away into anonymity with Mira who's just given birth to his son? On top of that no one knows his real name, so it would be impossible to track him. I know its not as epic as Braveheart or 300, but I'd rather see Spartacus decide to raise a son in the end then die a glorious, heroic death.
